Jokers, didn't they see Emefiele visit Buharii, got his consent before making the declaration. These people should take their attack to Buharii not Emefiele. They've not seen anything. Tinubuu using his boys to make noise but he will be dealthl with by Bubu. He said he made Buharii President, He'll hear it. Let him make himself President nah. No money for vote buying. For their information, the CBN is tracking every bulk withdrawal henceforth. They don't know whom they are dealing with. Why is only Tinubuu and his boys crying over this issue?

Do you know the damage Emefiele has done to CBN? No matter the political merit you think the naira shortage is achieving. CBN still remains a monetary regulator by law and not a political tool to fight corruption or insecurity. It is a shame that we have educated people in this country who support the lawlessness and impunity perpetrated by this government....

Iolo:

Now the truth is coming out. Before it was about the poor masses. Now the CBN has extended by 10 days and it is about protecting the state governors and security agencies who don’t want to go electronic as monies otherwise untraceable will now have to pass through a auditable system. The CBN is smartly not producing enough cash in a bid to force people to go electronic and the reps know it.

Why can’t the security agencies transfer these allowances to their employees? What’s so hard in doing that? This is how we continue to maintain mediocrity because no one wants to change whatever it is they are currently doing.

Useless Rep, vote buyers BAT messengers I only blame CBN gov for the 10 days extension, if me alone let the old note end 31st let heaven fall, hope they are aware Emefule is from Niger Delta

The extension will worsen the vote buying strategy because what happened this weekend will happen again two weeks to election. That is Feb 10th

Buhari and CBN are not their mate....
It is fight to fight to finish

Reps and respect for rule of Law: have the Reps ever asked President Buhari and Attorney General Mallami to RESPECT RULE OF LAW OVER COURT'S PRONOUNCEMENT TO FREE MAZI NNAMDI KALU FROM DSS DETENTION?

They wouldn't make this noise if Stalin or Abacha was our president. This is why I hate democracy in Africa. Look at all these fucking traitors sitting in senate and being so open with anticountry sentiments. We need to pull them from their beds and torch them in the streets. We need to take back our country from these Western sabotagers and British stooges

you're savy! respect.

it's all about power play. i had to check the constituency of alhassan ado doguwa; the man is from kano. ganduje also warned Buhari yesterday against his visit because of the scarcity. A direct confrontation with emefiele is a confrontation with buhari. these guys aren't scared of him again.

i'm starting to think people are underestimating the clout of tinubu in the north. northerners are reechoing his sentiment.
Why them go respect him when he's never acknowledged/reciprocated the sacrifices they made for him. Buhari na "use and dump", zero integrity

Yes but breaking the law doesn't make the country better.... This is not the first time Nigeria is redesigning it's currency so why is Emefiele violating the CBN act.....? Why has Emefiele refused to honor the house oversight invitation?

But Tinubu did far better in governance than Buhari

That's part of my point. Those devoid of hate, bigotry and bad belle for others know Tinubu is a fantastic leader. The best Nigeria has had since our current democracy began in 1999. He has the passionate and undivided support of a lot of Progressive Nigerians.

Also very important is the fact that Buhari is callously divisive and never a beloved Party leader or unifying force for the APC.

He ran the Presidency with a cabal inner crew of opportunists, nowhere to be seen before May 2015, and pushed away those the whole APC, North or South, acknowledge were responsible for building the Party and leading her to victory in 2015.

Buhari wil therefore struggle to get APC leaders abandon Tinubu who is the ultimate Party leader and Unifier virtually every APC leader has powerful testimony to give of the priceless assistance Tinubu gave them to be who they are today.

Goodluck to PMB on his mission if he does not backtrack and chill with the overt and malevolent interference.

CBN shouldn't have extended the deadline. The CBN is gradually falling for the enemies of Nigeria's economy.

These APC Reps were there when a Tinubu who is tainted with drug trafficking offences in the US, grabbed APC presidential ticket, the impotent Reps couldn't do a favour to Nigeria by stopping Tinubu.
Now, saner Nigerians who know the ugly implications of having a president tainted with drug trafficking offences, fight to stop Tinubu from becoming president of Nigeria. These bloody Reps are fighting against Nigeria and its people. The Reps want Tinubu to use his ill gotten wealth from FIRS and Lagos state, to buy next presidential election.

You guys make me laugh. So Buhari's own actions, callously and destructively punitive of ordinary Nigerians, is not "selfish interest"?

Try taking lessons from history assuming you even know your history to begin with. Buhari is overstepping his remit openly trying to abuse power to prejudice an election.

We saw OBJ do similar desperately trying to abuse his power to get third term. Atiku and many, including Tinubu, fought OBJ underground while Ken Nnamani and many legislators, from even Obasanjo's own PDP, defiantly stood firm against an unconstitutional third term plot . OBJ was thwarted.

Buhari will be thwarted too trying to abuse power to insist on who can or cannot be President. Just watch as the days count down.

Respect on your analysis.

If you wannna fight, fight the President. Stop attacking him indirectly through the God-fearing Emefiele.

Mr IPOB, is Tinubu the only politician in Nigeria?

Why are you afraid of Tinubu?

The larger majority in Nigeria who want a better order in the country, are with president Buhari and CBN gov, Emefiele.
If you don't know the ugly implications of having a president once associated with drug trafficking offences for a country, go and do a research. Tinubu was once associated with drug trafficking offences in the US.

Lol. Who are the enemies of Nigeria's economy other than CNB led by an ultra-corrupt and worthless puppet who gleefully supervised the crash of the Naira against major trading currencies of the world to then precipitate the worst inflation I have known as a Nigerian and also the biggest destruction of SME businesses, affecting mainly Southerners, reliant on favourable currency exchange rate to trade?

Do you know how many jobs I have seen lost when many of my own personal friend simply abandoned their thriving businesses ( with most relocating abroad) because of the horrendous crash of the Naira that made it worthless 'tissue paper' for anyone trading internationally?

I could go on all day but what is clear is that hate has brainwashed some of you so horribly you are now ready to stand logic on its head while turning villains to heroes and claiming heros are villains.

So Buhari and his crew are now 'fighting' for the good of Nigeria's economy while others are enemies of Nigeria's economic progress?

It is people like you that makes me want what is shown below so badly. You can go and be applying your myopic, brainwashed and logic-defying thinking to the affairs of your own region and not mine.
