mysoopafly:You don't need to wait until your current visa expires before you apply for a new one, but the earliest you can apply is 3 months before your intended date of travel. If it is within your means and you know you will visit the UK frequently, you can choose to apply for a long-term Standard Visitor visa for 2, 5, or 10 years. |

NdiEgede:You can't enter zero. You will still need to enter the total cost of the vacation, even if someone will be paying for the vacation. Note it in your application and cover letter that someone is paying for your vacation. |

NdiEgede:If you can’t enter zero, use the total cost of trip even if the sponsor is paying. As for evidence, you can include photos you both have taken together, as well as your birth certificates to show you’re both from same parents. |

ocpaschal:Well since you have a very buoyant sponsor, then you need not worry about how much you earn. Still attach your bank statement, but make sure there are no discrepancies in your account. Also, your sponsor should write a letter of sponsorship to you which you would attach to your application. Lastly, show proof of relationship with sponsor. Goodluck |

Thank you Al for al your response really appreciate it. So I want to be clear. I don’t have NIN, drivers license and PVC. So I want to ask if it does not affect my visa application in any way. But my passport is intact? Thanks |

Donzie1995:What is your tie to Nigeria? What will make you leave the UK after your proposed visit?? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by infosoftlife: 8:17am On Jan 31, 2023 |
Hammedyusuf:It doesn't affect anything. But try and get your NIN. You can't renew your passport without having a NIN, and you can't register a business with CAC. As a Nigerian, you should find time to get yours. The newly issued passport carries the NIN. Ensure the information on the NIN tallies with your passport if you wish to do so. Also, ensure the NIN is activated. |

infosoftlife:I will not lie, there's high chance I might not leave UK. My aunt want to help me settle in UK. |

Susu101:You can reapply and address the concern of the ECO on your cover letter if you believe your SOA is clean and won't raise the concern of the ECO. Ensure the cover letter is clear and concise. |

Donzie1995:Your chances of getting approval are very slim with your virgin passport. But if you want to try your luck, you can. It would be best if you had a solid reason why your aunt wants to sponsor your trip at this time. Sufficient proof to show you have a happy life in Nigeria. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Donzie1995: 8:45am On Jan 31, 2023 |
infosoftlife:She is very convinced that they will give me the visa because she work for the government there. And I hope I can get lucky. I have a happy life in Nigeria, it shouldn't be a problem. But please what are the documents that I need when applying? I planned to apply in March. |

Donzie1995:Use the search bar on nairaland and type "List of documents for UK Visa." I believe that will be much helpful to get unlimited ideas of documents to boost your application. SHALOM!!! |

Hello All I was given a Zanzibar visa which expires later on this year, could I include that in my uk visit application as a reason I’m returning to my home country as I would be going on another holiday? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Mrmoney90: 10:31am On Jan 31, 2023 |
SarahKrm2:It’s not necessary though. If it was that you had something that would desperately need your attention and presence in Zanzibar, that could’ve been fantastic. Maybe something like a business trip or work related. Could’ve be fantastic. Regardless, you can still declare it anyways. Goodluck |
