Hello house!
I helped a family friend of mine to apply for tourist visa and was granted to him and his wife. They visited the US last year.

They are planning to visit the US this year July and will love to go along with their son, I tried booking an appointment with the principal profile on ustraveldocs, whenever I get to putting the receipt number for the son it brings out a cumulative amount for both the principal and the dependent.

Open a new email and register it on cgi.

The principal already has a visa. I have send series of mail to them and they keep telling me to remove all dependents at step 6 and still no headway.

I want to know if it is not possible to add a dependent when you already have a visa. Or what can I do?

I’m trying to fill a DS-160 to apply for interview waiver renewal.
I’m currently based in Abuja, should I put my location as Abuja or Lagos considering that the IW is the Lagos embassy.
Also, would I need to travel to Lagos in person to submit my application.

Thanks so much for the reply. I did as you said and getting to booking the appointment, the available date is December 2024.

The parent wants to travel with him this July, is there anything we can do to book his appointment before July?

Call the embassy and explain to them. They will grant you to book an interview waiver / interview appointment to enable him travel with them.

I applied for a visa some months back, I used abuja consulate as my place for interview, but i later changed to Lagos consulate, because the Abuja embassy shutdown.... Recently, when i retrieved my application data, it displayed Abuja embassy... But when i login, it shows Lagos consulate as my place of interview..

Please which of them is the right info?? Is it the info on my retrieved aplication data or the info when i'm logged into ceac??

A DS160 form was filled since June 2022. Unfortunately, it expired unknowingly 24hrs to appointment.

Should it be rebooked or go ahead with the old appointment with a new DS160 form

Good morning house. Please I need a clarification. Last year my bropaid an agent to help process his B1/B2 visa but the agent did lots of misrepresentations and lied while filling the DS-160 form which will lead to a visa denial. Now my bro went to pay for another visa fee and chose Abuja as his interview venue. He wanted to book an appointment and his passport was requested so his details can be transferred to Abuja. He has been trying to login to the cgfi site with his email but it's not going through that his username should be in form of jane.doe@gmail.com.
Should he create a new email? He didn't carry me along now we are stuck. I just got to know this evening.
