Hey Boss.
Can you pls run me through the UTME registration process.
Like, The procedure to follow in getting the profile code..
The total cost of registration amount.
Thanks in Anticipation.

SF123:
Yes boss, i have registered. Pertaining to my reading schedule i normally go to the public library in my locality, i have a timetable which i drafted out each subject per day although i started early in my preparation. I will read a particular topic, make sure i covered the topic in my main textbook then after that i will use my lamlard and explicit series to study that particular topic specifically. I have a mindset of underlining every salient points i encountered, i have a jotter on my side where i jotted each unknown points down. After studying through out the day i will revise/memorise/recite what i studied to know actually if it sticts without looking at the textbook. On visiting the library the following day, i had to revise what i studied on the previous day before diving into another subject and topic respectively (my study time is 7-9 hours daily) not yet on past question

Hello, to get Jamb Profile code, you have to send an SMS in this format:
NIN (leave a space) NIN Number

Then send it to 55019.
After getting your profile code, you can then get your UTME PIN
UTME PIN is #6000 or thereabouts
After getting the Pin, you will visit an accredited CBT center or Jamb Office for your registration. Some charges might be collected from you there.

Get a profile code by sending your NIN number to 55019 or 66019 example
(NIN 1234567891011) to any of the aforementioned five (5) digits numbers i*e 55019 or 66019 respectively

The cost of UTME registration for those candidate that opted for mock is #6,700 and those who did not indicate for UTME mock is #5,700.

Prior to that, if you registered last year; you can still use the same profile code but you have to fullfill all rightousness by sending you NIN TO 55019 or 66019 so that your name will be tailored to jamb which signifies that you will be writting UTME 2023.
Then after that, you proceed to any jamb cbt accredited centre to complete your registration.

Pls medical students in the house, how many hours is it advisable for a medical student to study in a day ??

It depends on what level you are in.

My advice is to refrain from thinking about the number of hours you're supposed to be studying because you can study for 10hours and you've studied only one page.

I'll rather advice that you focus on the number of topics that should be covered in a day.

Let your study schedule be "workload-based" and not "time-based".

EBSU medics..Humancalc et al...what are the modalities for admission into EBSU Medicine and Surgery
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by dearpiriye: 7:16am On Feb 07, 2023
Hi everyone, please I need suggestions of institutions that consider 2nd class lower for direct entry to medicine and surgery.
I’ve tried using google but I’m getting a lot of very conflicting information and I’m not sure what is currently available. Thank you

It would be Private Universities. Most of these Federal & State Universities may tell you to apply, but .... They still end up picking a few on the ladder from first class down. Except of course, 'long legs' is involved. However, I'd rather not send off a discouraging vibe. Who knows?? It's better to try and pass/fail than not try at all.

PS: I'm currently a 4th year MBBS student with a BSc degree in Anatomy. (I didn't get in through Direct Entry)

Check UNIBEN and UNN. (You'll have to write entrance exams though). Dr STORM2 (I don't know if she's still active on the forum) got into UNN with a 2:2.
I learnt Olabisi Onabanjo (OOU) considers 2:2 as well (you have to write entrance exams too)

Oga Tonye001 this mention is for the HO series cheesy

Just a little part of me is sad that this epic journey is being rounded off and we'd no longer read about your moments as an undergraduate of Medicine; everything that has a begining must have an end.

Still, I'm glad you've shown us, through your vivid experiential journey, God's grace and endless mercies.

Indeed God has been so good to you.

You've had a great run, well done Sir.
