This policy is starving the society with cash would even make vote buying easier. First of all the political class already have enough of the new notes they need, they have access to the banking system and a call to a 3 bank MDs in their team would give them the whole cash they need so don't be deceived. And because the people are starved if cash, they would be more receptive of vote buyers, instead of maybe 5k or more, people would hapilly receive 2k or 3k and give u their vote. Thirdly who told u naira is d only currency that can be used to buy vote? In the core north CFA is handy and can easily be exchanged for naira at a future date, am sure those that want to buy votes have already stacked enough CFAs for that purpose. So don't even imagine this will hurt the political class, it actually benefits them, it's d masses that are in pains especially Obidients but their leader Peter Obi is too chicken hearted to speak out for them. He is not fit for high office, let he go and be Laity Chairman at his Parish wherever he worships |

Odibembem:Thîefnubu is doing eye service. The useless Buhari Thîefnubu brought to power is not Peter Obi's business. If indeed Thîefnubu care about Nigerians, What was his response in the endsars protest? Did Nigerians started suffering recently? Was Thîefnubu not aware of the Economic recession we passed through years ago? he never spoke against the failed management style of this administration in the past, so why now? Clearly, this is nothing but eye service.

Hopium:Are you folks not confused? All you mentioned in one way or another played a part in PMB's emergence in 2015. Is it now that Nigerians started suffering under this regime that all of your idols have suddenly become advocates of the masses? Show me PO's picture or post amongst those who protested against fuel subsidy removal in 2012. He has always been talking about issues affecting the masses (check his Twitter page). I love how he has steered clear of the imbrolgio amongst enemies of our country. Nigerians know who's on their side. |

ElSudani:This is not correct. You're mixing up issue and don't allow this to becloud your conscience. People that created the problem are trying to convince you that because someone didn't talk about the problem, then you should vote them to oppress you and keep you wailing. As a leader, there are certain issues you should not dabble into especially when it's very sensitive. This naira myraid is beyond just words. Anyone can talk from now till tomorrow, it wouldn't add a kobo to any ATM machine. We should be smart to focus on solving our collective problems rather than scouting for someone that has nothing to do with our plight to aportion blames to him. Truth be told, what do you expect Obi to say now that would change the situation? |
| Re: A Leader Should Not Be Silent, Obi Is Not A Leader by NwaliE01: 8:09am On Feb 03, 2023 |
Odibembem:Tell your Jagaban to tell his friend, the president to stop punishing you for the sin you committed in 2015 and get wisdom not to repeat same disaster. Stop apportioning blame to someone that has nothing to do with our problem and sizing his leadership prowess with this baseless accusations. Please, tell me what you expect Obi to say that would add kobo to the ATM closest to you? This is a sensitive situation that ball down to our national leadership. He respects leaders and he as well knows his boundaries. You guys want him to say something so that you can have what to use against him, if it falls out of your winks - which is always the case. Anyways, people will always find faults even in your Greetings. Obi is wiser than this propaganda. |

This is almost eight years of APC government in which Bola Tinubu is the "national" leader. Nigerians have cried out on numerous issues bothering on bad governance of this government. Nepotism, favoritism, sectionalism, ethnic profiling, herdsmen killings, bandits, terrorists, kidnappers, incessant land grabbing, economic sabotage, petroleum theft, illegal mining, endsars, killing of protesters, hoarding of covid palliatives, arbitrary arrest of innocent citizens, police killing, continuous devaluation of naira, sectional border closing, loss of jobs, hyper inflation, shutting down of educational sector. Your candidate all this while, has been conspicuously silent even when he made all these promises during their campaign in 2015 and 2019. He just realized now that people are queuing up due to fuel scarcity, that the naira has been depreciating from 200 to 800, and that the redesigning of naira now is affecting the poor masses and maybe tomorrow, that Fulani herdsmen has been killing and kidnapping people and many others. The question then is, where has he been leaving? Is he just realizing now that Nigerians are suffering from the government he has been part of, for the past eight years? Or are you guys just myopic and blinded by tribalism, ethnicity or simply incapable of reasoning straight? Hard times, killings, kidnapping and poor economy does not segregate. If not, northerners shouldn't be thinking of protesting or attacking Buhari now because he is one of them. Be mindful of the drugs you are selling, your relatives might need them. |

ElSudani:I just don't know how you lots reason with your two sided mouths...You said PO is not good to be president by saying "On your Mandate Jagaban of APC I stand" you are gallantly standing on APC mandate and expected someone you tarnish while he has been warning you lots to speak up. All these while he as been speaking up you have been deaf with "On your Mandate Jagaban of APC we stand" continue standing and wailing. Suffer never Taya you. |

I pray you find another disparaging thing to write about Obi tomorrow, but don't forget that even if you link him up with Taliban's regime now,Nigerians are fully poised to elect him our minds are made up now. Even if Tinubu goes to church and speak in tongues,it will never change anything now. His initial comment about change of naira and fuel scarcity was that it's targeted against him..so it's not you he was talking about,it was him..so wake up from your slumber. Just fees months ago Obi was the first to visit flooded areas across Nigeria and commaserate with the victims,he even call on the other aspirants to halt their campaigns and visit those flooded places to see if there's a way to help them in that situation. This old agbero is crying foul just because Buhari has put up measures to ensure free and fair election. Tinubu will loose!!! |
