I have tried but it’s just not working out

I am actually tired.

How about you cancel the current flight schedule (the airline may issue you a full/part refund or travel voucher) and then re-book with another airline that won't layover in Canada.

Congratulations 🎉 renewed mine at London office as well. They asked me to send the proof of payments (just 1page each) for each child to their email because I didn’t take it along for the interview and my visa was granted
Oh I see, please when was that? where you asked if you will be using the new visa to give birth?
Thanks dear

Baby came to UK with my wife on US passport as US citizens are are allowed in for 6 months, and then we applied for dependent visa in the UK right after. I think its better to just apply for dependent visa right after baby is back in the UK and not wait till the 6months lapses.
Thanks for the insight. I have been wondering how the ending will be

Tried that. Apparently the policy for AirCanada is whether you get a flight credit or travel voucher (at least on the type of ticket I had), you MUST re-book with AirCanada

No you can't apply. You must have a residence permit before you can apply in another country other than your home country.

She can, unless the visa post explicitly says she needs residency to apply (which they can). My sister just got a US visa from a third country.

Yup. So far it’s frozen and not leaking and checked. You can. It’s up to CBP to let it pass or throw it away Sha.

As a visitor? You can not apply for a US visa from UK when you are on a visit visa.

You have to provide evidence of your status in the UK if you are not a UK or EU passport holder when applying for a US visa. In this case, the first thing they collect from your before your biometrics is your BRP and your passport.

Visit visa is not an evidence of a stay hence you can only apply from your home country.

I don’t know about UK 100%, but I have heard of people who applied for a U.S visa from there on a visit visa, however that was some years back Sha, so things might have changed.

I know personally of Canada, cos I applied there before. My sister just got her visa in an African country with no permanent residency. And I know people go to neighboring African countries to apply due to the lack of dates in naija. Like I said, it depends on the post/country. Each post makes their own rules ans they fit.

I know two students who applied from the Uk and were granted.

Ok.. I see your point..she can give it a try. If it works fine, if not she would just let go of the money spent. Either ways, an attempt is not bad.

One guy on the visit visa thread spoke about people who visited the Uk renewing their us visas , I think this was sometime in November or December. Because I remember telling him what ties do they have to the Uk and I think their chances will not be as good as applying from Nigeria, he mentioned about getting earlier dates there or something I can’t remember the exact details.

Good Evening all.
I am a first timer on this thread.
I would like to deliver in the US by the end of this year 2023.
Could anyone tell me the procedure of getting a doctor and hospital? And all other information that I will need?
I have already applied for a normal visa and my appointment is in April.
Thanks for your guidance.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Somandla: 2:04pm On Feb 17, 2023
Hi, information has been extensively shared on this Thread.

I suggest you take out time and read and you can also use the search button to find answers you are looking out for, you dnt have to read the whole thread but even the last 10 pages has all the answers you are looking for.

(Read page 1, then read last 20pages)

If you are confused or need more clarity you can come back and ask for clarity but I would suggest you take pen & paper and narrow down states, prices, doctors etc

People are always willing to help out on this especially when you put some energy, dedication.

Goodluck!
