tarmmey:Okay that’s okay. I’m sure the previous application was refused because of proof of relationship between applicant and sponsor. If the only document you submitted was family tree. Secondly, considering that he’s your uncle and not your dad, CAD$35k is certainly not much. I just calculated your expenses: 19k(tuition)+10k(living expenses)+3k(Miscellaneous)=32kper annum. Two years masters is around 60k ish. Out of which you paid 19k. Left with 41k. And you’re using your uncle (it is believed he has his own family and extra responsibility- so obviously he can’t give you all his 35k). Highest he’ll give you 30% lol. . . I’m kidding right! But that’s it. So yes go on with the GIC and/or gift-deed from dad then supplement the POF with your uncle + the tuition fee payed, it should fly. |

danherb:One thing with the school is you’ll have to scan your visa page or study permit before you’ll be allowed to choose timetable. I got my passport request letter on the 28th of Dec, I immediately informed the school that I’ll be coming so they should enable be choose timetable, they disagreed, I didn’t get my passport till 10th of January, I already bought ticket sef, only for the school to send a mail that enrollment is full. E pain me ehn, I had to differ, they don’t do that in Fanshawe. |

Hello Abeg441 Do not waste your time on form A for a payment deadline of 2 weeks. Peeps that have initiated Form A for months now have not been debited and the school has not received the CAD equivalent, so do not go near Form A, especially with what is going on in Nigeria presently with the banking sector.. Take time and read up on the school's payment options, there are 3rd party options like Flywire you can use, even though their rates are more expensive but your payment should get to your school in a week or 2. Peace Abeg441: |

Good day all What are the chances of approval with just the acceptance deposit? No tuition initiated yet |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by makano: 7:14pm On Feb 08, 2023 |
Well, I have quite a number of peeps who got family visa with a year program for the primary applicant. Just put down a clear and well-detailed explanation of why you wanna go as a family, and most importantly, make sure your explanation is convincing. Also, hope you have the funds to comfortably cater for your tuition and living expenses of your dependents, this is key. Peace beeslim: |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by makano: 7:19pm On Feb 08, 2023 |
Hello Gisele You didn't mention the school or program you going for, but I will advise you to exercise a little bit of patience. Probably the number of applications they got for your program is on the high side. The master's admission process can take months, PGD/PGC admission process shouldn't be more than 2 months.. Hello quinstershaw As we all know, you can't predict the operation of IRCC VOs. Personally, I have worked with a number of applicants who got their visas paying just $1500CAD Deposit fee. Many paid 1st semester and very few didn't pay anything and got their visa. But note this people who didn't pay anything had the required funds sitting in their SOA. This is my advise for you, yes you can get your Visa with just the Tuition deposit, but make sure you have more than the required funds in your SOA and let your application further convince the Visa officer that you are capable and ready to pay up your tuition fees balance once you get your Visa.. Peace quinstershaw: |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by makano: 7:45pm On Feb 08, 2023 |
Well, Like I always say, if you know you have waited long for your application that have passed the processing time, start with sending IRCC 5 emails every day, if after 2 weeks you didn't get a response, increase to 10 mails everyday. It may sound crazy, but this crazy act has worked for applicants that crazily did this, so it's up to you.. Peace cuttestprince: |
Wow! Thank you so much, Bulstriker, for these rich and analytical thoughts of yours. I'm really grateful. They will really help a great deal. I have applied for Study Leave from my place of work, but it is not handled fast enough and I should reapply maximum by the middle of this month, since I'm resuming on the 1st of May. In case the letter is not ready by then, should I still reapply and then send it to them through web form when it is ready? Thanks a bunch for your advice. Some persons did not submit study leave approval but have gotten visa. You can submit letter of introduction from work, appointment and promotion lett |

Thanks so much for your advice, Emmyoddy. I am just one year 8 months in my job; so no promotion yet (it comes every 3 years). Will only Appointment Letter and Lettre of Introduction work? Can both documents serve as a home tie for job? Thanks for your input. Blessings!

|
