So please what do I do to fix this?

Please help, my Police character certificate only has my first and last name while my passport has my middle name included. Is this an issue? If I do a court affidavit to clear this , is that enough?

You don't need to do anything, brother. Your document is legitimate and authentic without a middle name.

Good morning my people
Do I need invitation letter for Uk visit visa renewal ?

You don't need one, but it would be a good idea to use one if you stated in your application that you were being invited by someone.

Pls house,
Can my uncle who is already established in UK, he's into traveling agency consultancy), can he employ me over there? I want to know if perhaps I can use the opportunity to process my visa.. Employment visa

1- Check the eligible occupations list if there is any job for Travel agency you think you can fit in.

2 - Ask your uncle if his company has a sponsor license because he will need a sponsor licence to employ immigrant workers to work for for his company in the UK.

3 - He will need to apply for a sponsor license if he doesn't have one.

Hello!

I apologize for disturbing you, unauthorized.

Firstly, I intend to apply for a tourist UK Visa.

Previous Travel History: Morocco (Sticker Visa), Lebanon, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo and Benin. (Pending SA visa)

2. I work as a Freelancer meaning self-employed however I have my "brand/company" ID card but the business is not registered.

3. I have 2 bank accounts: 1 for my day to day activities (the balance is always low) and the second is primarily for savings (with about 10M) as the closing balance.

4. There's no pay slip nor any note in my transactions stating a "salary". Always, I change USD and I get the exchange value normally in naira via exchangers.

With all I've said above, do you think I have a chance? Or I shouldn't even bother?

PS: I want to do this because I've been previously denied A US visa hence I want to visit a Tier 1 country before trying the USA visa again.

As a freelancer, how do you get paid? Is the money transferred directly to your account?? Is there a description of the payment entering your account?? Then you are a self acclaimed freelancer if the answer is NO to the questions above.

How was the 10M accrued? How many months did it take you to grow this saving?

What's your tie to Nigeria? What will convince the officer in charge of your application to be convinced you will return to your country?

You have a good travel history, but I will advise you to be intentional with your application.

Having a brand/company ID card that is not registered doesn't count and you shouldn't even think of presenting such because it is a crime. It shows you are running an illegal business/company.

SHALOM!!!

Before I proceed to advise, I would ask; were you able to secure the Moroccan and Lebanon visa under this same circumstance of freelancing? Or you were sponsored on the trip?

Let me know so I can advise accordingly

Hi please, please for those that have successfully applied and gotten their visa, how did you answer that question " how much do you personally plan to spend on your visit to the UK"? Especially when you are been fully sponsored. Do you put the total proposed expenditures or what?

Hello Guys, i Have a question. Please dont quote me, else the site will ban you.

You can just type my moniker in your reply.

I visited the UK for 20 days and i am back to Nigeria. I still have about 3 months valid visa left.

I want to apply for a visit around august, but i want to do it early enough.

Can i apply now against august with the valid 3 months visa i have, or should i wait till it expires?

Also, Some people are saying i have to apply for another 6 months, before i can apply for 2 years. Can i apply for 2 years Visa straight after the first 6 months, or must i apply for another 6 months?

Waiting for response. Thanks
if you want to visit in August, you are advisable to apply nothing more than 3months prior to your travel date. I.e you can apply only around May/June upward, and this current visa could have expired by that time (May/June).

Yes. You can apply for 2yrs+ since you are already having a good travel history with them.

you stand a chance, as long as you can prove you are going to leave.

'If you are intending to visit the UK you will need to show that you are a genuine visitor who is coming to the UK to undertake a permitted activity, that you will leave at the end of your visit and that you have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable costs in relation to your visit.

It is recommended that you provide information about your circumstances in your home country and details of the activity that you will be doing in the UK.

• business registration documents or recent invoices that confirm on-going self-employment'…

So you will need a business registration document for your self-employment and recent invoices and/or recent Tax Document to show you are trading and earning profit from your business. Most payment platforms or paying platforms issues receipt/Payslip for every transaction as evidence for future references. This is just one part of the consideration.

This question has been answered severally on here. You can put the amount the sponsor will be paying towards the trip. Then at the spot where they asked something about the total cost of trip, then you can put the same amount there.

Yes, I secured the moroccan visa under this circumstance. I wrote a self-introduction letter to accompany my application. Included statements for both bank accounts.

Lebanon is visa on arrival.

Ok. In that case, you can apply the same method here. But there are things you should note:

The UKVI doesn’t need all those ID and complimentary cards, so as such, you don’t need to include that.

I think using the freelance thing would work, but you just have to show evidences of payment and how the funds have been accrued over time.

For me, I believe that since you said you have been working for a while, as that is how you got the major part of your funds, you can actually explain that and add your previous payslips or bank statement/working information, just to clarify that part.

They need clarity before they can grant you a visa. There is nothing wrong with being a freelancer. Make sure you indicate the days the converted funds from dollar to naira hit your account, and at what rate.

Goodluck

Thank you for your response.

You are good to go.
You need to submit such evidence. If possible, download your earnings on Upwork and present them with your application.
Just try and work on your home ties.
Remember to provide sufficient documents to back your claim.
