Thank you. I went ahead with vegetable oil it was surprisingly good but I prefer palm oil any time please , I find it more flavorful.

So somebody in my house descended on my ceramic wok as soft landing and used iron sponge to wash the hell out of it. I came back and couldn't recognise my precious wok again

Got lodge caste iron wok.
Has been eyeing this wok since but opportunity never come to buy am. This one is seasoned already.
Caste iron is called ite òna in my language. So it's nothing new. Only different design and it's very heavy.

I have plans to get this wok and le crueset but still haven't. Waiting to discard some things first.
