terrezo2002:But much of Christian theology is derived from Pauline epistle... Why ![]() |
| Re: Question For Those Who Left Christianity. by terrezo2002(m): 7:06pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
sonmvayina:Not true. Christianity is not centered around Paul. Even before Paul was converted, there were Christians growing in large numbers. The christian teaching is directly from the Holy spirit. |

terrezo2002:So what did the others write about Christianity? Why did their "holy spirit " inspired writing not make it to the bible... I'm short what is Christianity ? |

sonmvayina:This question shows you don't read the Bible yet you talk about it. There are 66 books in the Bible. How many of them was written by Paul. Besides, what Paul wrote were letters to certain people inspired by the holy spirit. If you too become a true Christian today, you can be inspired to write words of God. I'm short what is Christianity? Does it mean you don't know this too? Why talking about what you don't know anything about? |
| Re: Question For Those Who Left Christianity. by LordReed(m): 10:02am On Feb 14, 2023 |
terrezo2002:Of all the acknowledged authors of the books of the Bible Paul is by far the most prolific. 14 books of the Bible are attributed to Paul, that is 21% of the Bible. If you count only the New Testament which is where Christianity starts then he wrote 51% of the NT. If you are trying to downplay Paul's influence in Christian theology then you are the one who doesn't know what they are talking about. |

sonmvayina:Lack of evidence for this god Christianity led me to believe in. It all came crashing down in an instant, what I had believed my whole life was nothing but an elaborate fiction based on impressions with no factual support, except conjectures that are easily dispelled. I am relieved that I no long have to hold this fiction as real in my head. |

LordReed:What do you know? Paul wrote letters by the inspiration of the Holy spirit. He was learned and vast in different cultures. That helped do more of writing. It doesn't mean Paul is the Pioneer of Christianity or father of Christianity as many people suggest. If others too wrote same way, the Bible would have been such a big book that would be difficult to carry about. Every Christian can write same way by the inspiration of the Holy spirit |

terrezo2002:The question should be put to you, what do you know? You who is trying to deny Paul's influence in Christian theology. Paul's writings are the basis for many of the Christian concepts you believe in. Your denial shows your ignorance. |
| Re: Question For Those Who Left Christianity. by terrezo2002(m): 10:44am On Feb 14, 2023 |
LordReed:You didn't even read what I wrote. The accusations are already in your heart. No amount of explanation will make you understand. So no need discussing with you |

terrezo2002:Please help me.. What is Christianity'? And which of the 40k+ denomination is the right one.. |
| Re: Question For Those Who Left Christianity. by LordReed(m): 11:05am On Feb 14, 2023 |
terrezo2002:I read what you wrote and you denied that much of Christian theology is derived from Pauline writings. The same Paul that gave you almost all the concepts of the holy spirit you believe in is who you are denying. Who told you the scriptures were holy spirit inspired if not Paul. Your explanations are irrelevant if you are going to persist in denying Paul's impact on Christianity. |
| Re: Question For Those Who Left Christianity. by terrezo2002(m): 11:05am On Feb 14, 2023 |
sonmvayina:Christian is from the word "Christ like" Like Jesus Christ. So Christianity means Christ like. Which of the denomination is right? The denomination that is Christ like. No doubt, there are so many christian cults parading themselves as Christians. They are wolves in sheep clothings. They are not Christians. If you have the Spirit of God, you will know the difference between the truth and the false among the denominations |

LordReed:You should have ignored the OP. He disparages Christianity as if the Hebrew Bunkum that forms the foundation of it is not total ethnocentric psychosis. Hebrew Bunkum that he swears is the “word of god”, whatever that shit means. |

Arkmanbuddy:sonmvayina like many others has been decieved. The same way they decieved me into confusion and hatred for God in 2015. He's in a demonic mental shackle. Your explanation is a waste. |

Ever since I denied Jesus my life has experienced a profound transformation. Previously, I was ensnared within the bewilderment of trying to make sense of the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The triangle of Joseph, Mary, and the Holy Spirit added to this confusion. However, the moment I chose to step away from Jesus, the idol, the insanity I was grappling with started to dissipate. The complex doctrines and narratives of the Trinity and the triangle of Joseph, Mary, and the Holy Spirit and the virgin birth no longer dictated my spiritual journey. Instead, I found truth and solace in the faith of Judaism. In its monotheistic purity and its profound wisdom, I found a path that felt right and true. Judaism offered clarity where there was confusion, and simplicity where there was complexity. In denying Jesus, I was not rejecting spirituality, but rather redefining my faith journey. I was leaving behind doctrines that no longer made sense to me and embracing a faith that spoke to my heart and intellect. The loss of my insanity was the beginning of my journey towards understanding, a journey that led me to Judaism. I discovered a faith that values questioning, exploration, and the relentless pursuit of truth. Judaism, in its profound simplicity, liberated me from the chains of confusion and brought me peace. In summary, denying Jesus, the man-god, marked the loss of my insanity and the commencement of a new spiritual journey. It was not so much a loss as it was a profound discovery - a discovery of Judaism and its timeless wisdom." |
