Funflipper: You completely missed the points of the story. 1. Peter Obi is a man with real empathy. He was not obligated in any way to help with the funeral of the Lady of Songs, but he went out of his way to do so. Imagine what he will do if he's under obligation as President. 2. He told Dr. Tee-Mac about the size of his wardrobe, and he proved it when Tee-Mac showed disbelief. How many other candidates can make a claim and back it up immediately with proof? Will we rather support a person whose source of wealth is unknown, or the one whose age or early education cannot be established? As a father, will you allow your daughter marry a man whose past cannot be verified? A man without a past is as unreliable as a building without foundations. He has a choice of experts to call to his cabinet. A man cannot know everything. Obi said so himself. He is not claiming to be Superman. What we need is not his genius and pluripotent abilities. What we need is his heart. |

Funflipper: The job needs self discipline. The discipline of a man who can have Nigeria's billions in his hands but refuse to steal them. May I ask you, how much is Tinubu receiving from Lagos as pension for ex governor and how much is Obi receiving from Anambra State as pension for ex governor? Ok, Tinubu towards the end of his office as governor made a law that will pay him over 700 million annually as pension and he will receive it for life. Peter Obi had the same chance but refused to make that law. So, while Tinubu is harvesting nearly N1 billion annually into his family from the poor people of Lagos, Obi takes nothing from Anambra. So again, between the two men, who can you trust with public money? |

Funflipper: It says a lot about the man. He is simple, not extravagant, not wasteful, doesn’t steal or waste govt resources on frivolities. The present Nigeria needs someone like him. If you knew how much comes into Nigeria coffers and how these animals waste these resources, to keep Nigeria this underdeveloped and poor, you will cry. One day I pray you step into Europe or America, you will understand how bad Nigeria is. One the CBN, whenever Nigeria politicians fight any policy this hard, know that it’s hitting them harder. Tribal: Why are you being so inconsiderate ,injustice & marginalizing with your sentiment and if you are an Igbo you wouldn't have made your comment bolded above. Let me ask you some questions and let's be factual and honest... 1, Have a Yoruba man from the south become the President of Nigeria before? Have OBJ in mind with a Northerner, Atiku as vice 2, Have an Hausa man become a President of Nigeria before? Have Ya'radua in mind with a south south man as vice 3, Have a South South man become a President of Nigeria before? Have Good luck Jonathan in mind with Northerner as Vice 4. Have a Fulani man become a President of Nigeria before? Have Buhari in mind with a Yoruba southerner as vice 5. Have an Igbo man from the east become a President or Vice president of Nigeria before? Why did you say Igbo can not have the chance of becoming the president now? How are igbos wicked by fairly contesting for the President of Nigeria? Is it not the southerners that are wicked, unfair and inconsiderate in giving an easterner a chance which should be automatic but we are not relying on automatic elections. Igbo's don't have any hatred for Tinubu because he is a Yoruba man. If It was Tinubu of 1999 I will vote him to be president of Nigeria but the problem here is that the Tinubu of 2023 is sick with dementia and speech impaired. I would have voted for Osibanjo as an Igbo that I am if he was the flag bearer of APC because it's not about party or tribe but the character and personality of the candidate. If Obi does win it's good Atiku wins because he has shown interest on southerners either from the South South or southwest and he is not sick. So please stop being inconsiderate and marginalized and know we don't have Hausas, Igbos and Yoruba as the only tribes in Nigeria, there are many other regconized tribes we have in Nigeria. Let's try other tribes to be the President of Nigeria MERIT-WISE. Thanks |
