The Evil man sent to come and bring the Superfalcons down, God will judge him

daveP:Bros, you made me laugh so hard 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But you’re not far off from the thought process of the coaches. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 12:55am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:SEVEN consecutive losses and this guy, somehow, still has his job?!!!😲😲 Even a relegation-battling team would have fired the coach after the 5th or 6th straight loss. Smh |

Bawuo didn't deserve that red card. The ball was offside na and she got a little piece of it. Samuel Eto'o needs to appeal. |

PDPGuy:They asked him about the losing streak and he brought up the draw against Canada ![]() |

Danielnino00:I feel Oshoala is tactically avoiding Randy with all her recent unexplained absence from the team. And rightly so. That fool if a coach will just spoil her rep |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 6:31am On Feb 19, 2023 |
timay1:Let's not encourage indiscipline here. FYI, that is not an excuse. If this is her reason then that's disrespectful to the entire National team. Can she miss miss a Barcelona game because she hates the coach? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 6:41am On Feb 19, 2023 |
JohnBullMySon:I agree. We must not make excuses for indiscipline under any guise. I however feel she must have an understanding with the coach. Like I opined earlier, the last 2 times she honoured a national team call up, she ended up injured. One of which led to her having to shar the Pinchichi with Geyse and miss months on the sideline with Barcelona. She's currently getting back her form and sits at the top of the scores chart and could potentially win the Pinchichi again this year. It only makes sense for her to sit this window out as far as the national team is concerned. We still have at least 2 windows for her to join the team before the world cup. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Nomyth: 6:56am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:But I don't understand oh. Can the super Falcons ever win a match outside of Africa? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by naptu2: 6:59am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Nomyth:Yes, if everything is done properly. We have beaten South Korea (2019), North Korea and Denmark (1999) at the World Cup. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 7:11am On Feb 19, 2023 |
naptu2:And even when we lose (we've lost severally at the world stage), we do so with her heads held high. We lose gallantly. Now, we don't even have a playing pattern. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:21am On Feb 19, 2023 |
lovewins:Are you guys even seeing the pace the Falcons are playing with? It’s fucking too slow, they’re all looking sluggish.. At least in their Clubside we see them they run faster than this and play the ball quicker.. Imagine Payne, Ordega, Kanu, Ajibade, Alozie, Ucheibe, can’t even run again.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:27am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Even the Ifeoma Onumonu I know plays better than this at NY/Gotham FC, Something is wrong… Again almost 3 years Randy still don’t have a pattern, no plan A or B, can’t even pick a good starting 11, still trying out player’s in the wrong position. In this modern day football, your Full Backs/Wing Backs must be very quick see Randy keep bringing in Sluggish Glory Ogbonna, Wasting Ashleigh there.. If can’t play Ashleigh at CB seat her out,.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 7:32am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:The answer is simple. The girls are not motivated for success. When you have a coach who constantly give participation award and always attributes failure to "learning", chances are you won't improve. They need someone who will make them hungry, someone who is equipped enough to help unleash their potentials. Randy definitely isn't it. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:33am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Coming to the National team the players form keep dropping, they look more like Amateur, Alozie isn’t even playing as before. The only girls playing too well now is the talented Onyi Echegini, Blessing Demehin and Dependable Chiamaka Nnadozie |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:37am On Feb 19, 2023 |
What’s the Strength of the Superfalcon?? No.1 is Pace, Energy and Power Couple with playing the ball on the ground which the girls no longer have, As a Coach you get to understand the kind of players you have and know how best to succeed with them but Randy if F9… How can you be Coaching a team for about 3 years now and still can’t draft out a proper playing pattern… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:37am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Truth be told the Problem isn’t the Players, Randy and his Crew have to gooo |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 7:42am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:How exactly do you expect Alozie to improve? She's being made to function in a role not suited for her. Even the best of players would fumble if they are consistently made to play roles they aren't suited for. Improvising means you are continuously and consistently doing same thing over and again. You become better at coding by coding over and again, you don't leave coding and start graphic design and expect to improve. This isn't the case for her and perhaps most of them. She plays as a wing forward in Houston, but plays as a wing back in Nigeria. How exactly will she improve? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:51am On Feb 19, 2023 |
lovewins:All the blame falls on Randy, I have seen players play differently positions for both Club and Country and still perform at top level, Alozie is Athletic, the talent is there but the person nurturing her as a Full back isn’t impacting anything in her, She can’t perform when you as a Coach don’t even understand or know her a player is supposed to play a Particular role.. If Randy Goes some of the Girls can’t even make the team to the World Cup under the likes of Coach Omagbemi, Mercy and Co.. Even with any of us as Coach we know too well that there are players in Randy team that are not up to the level of playing for the National team.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:54am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Look at Echegini, if you understand. Football very well you will see that the girl talent is talented, she just need more playing time and better player combination around her in Midfield… But Randy nor go underrated that one… Now Demehin is rising up now, the Coach will still not know what to do, who and who to start and who to bench.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:57am On Feb 19, 2023 |
We can still understand that Randy continuing is mainly because of Funds to pay him off, But let’s pay him back too by Sacking him now at least his dreams and expectations of Coaching at the biggest Women football tournament in the World would be cut Shot… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:11am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Coach Uche Ngozi Eucharia took the Falcons to the 2011 World Cup in Germany, after winning the AWC (WAFCON) in 2010 then the team played Germany in a friendly game and lost 8-0 but they blamed it mostly on Weather.. Going to the World Cup, The Falcons draw with Austria 🇦🇹 (1-1) Josephine Chukwunonye scored our goal, Won Czech Republic 🇨🇿 (1-0) Glory Iroka scored our goal, Won Slovakia 🇸🇰, Won Wacker Innsbruck a club from Austria (7-0) At the World Cup the against France we lost 1-0 but played well and didn’t take our chance especially Oparanozie, we moved on and played Germany which we lost 1-0 too but if you watch that game you would know that the German were luck to run home with that 1nil, Imagine this was when Germany was still Germany with Birgit Prinze, inka Grings, Annika Krah, Kim Kulig the best Defensive midfielder in the world then, Okoyino, Behringer,Nadine Angerer, and the likes of Alexander Popp, and current Lyon star Dzsenifer Marozzan were upcomers then.. The last game, They won Canada (1-0) after hitting the Woodwork 3 times, Orji twice, Nkwocha once, like we literally dominated that game with Stella Mbachu tormenting the Canadian Left back throughout.. Common I’m not even clamoring for a Foreign Coach again, Let’s work with our own… |

codemaniacs:I was saying same too, but the nigerianesss mentality was making some to say they should not rush them, another glorified way of saying the Archaic "wait for your time" of old. Onyenezide alone should be in this team by now. Ayinde is not going to perform wonders at this world cup. Infact the average age of each team's potential midfield is going to be so low and full of youngsters. But here we are, delaying the inevitable. Delaying destiny, delaying capacity. To make it worse, Randy. If the coach wasn't randy and they still refused to take Esther and co, I'll still complain. By the time those girls are going for their 1st WWC(which isn't even a sure thing), Linda Caicedo would have become the female Mbappe. Make we dey play. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:45am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Disappointed Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum says results could be misleading as performances is most important. My guy, I love him. Randy; "We always want to win and expect to win anytime we are on the pitch. Our Performances in those matches are what is important and not necessarily the results. Many teams will lose to the teams that we lost to, we have played 5 of the top teams in the world." |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:52am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Michelle Alozie and Ashleigh Plumptre at FullBack But in the big picture Patricia George would have brought those ball control and attacking skills to the national team when overlapping, and forces opposing wingers and wing backs to stay home because of it. Her speed, skill, and athleticism keep opposing wings under control. The Superfalcon team has just few players who can control the ball and attack, but the team needs players capable of controlling opposing attacks. One of the current weaknesses of the Superfalcons is not just the Midfield but the defense also… We need good fullbacks to do that job.

daveP:Exactly, you're right... U20 players like Imuran, Alani (LB) instead of using Plumptre, Demehin, Debbie Abiodun, Esther Onyenezide, Joy Jerry, Flourish Sabastine. and U17 players like Ajakaye, Usani, Etim, Okenwa, Edafe , Afolabi should be in the Super Falcons or at least getting 20 - 45 minutes in the Super Falcons... Waldrum is behaving as if all the players are injured and his playing players out of position instead of going to the U20 and U17 and picking their replacements.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 10:00am On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:We have them if we have a coach ready to work. The Super Falcons in her glory were 100% girls discovered across the length and breadth of this country. If we are challenged in a particular area, we only need someone who care enough to scout out the solution here in Nigeria if you can't get one outside. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BankyGee(m): 10:08am On Feb 19, 2023 |
codemaniacs:None of our players were even able to match the speed of the Colombians. I was just imagining Opeyemi Ajakaye at the flanks yesterday... She would've terrorized the Colombian final third time and time again, but Randy no get sense... Is Linda Caicedo not their mate? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by codemaniacs: 10:19am On Feb 19, 2023 |
BankyGee:Linda Caicedo is their mate ooo ![]() Our players were playing as if they are in their late 40s and they were always running away from receiving passes thereby making the passing range longer instead of shorter and simple. If Oshoala was playing they would have just been playing long balls for her to run and get thereby over-working her.. |
