I just remembered that Florence Omagbemi was among the nominee for the 2017 FIFA Women Coach of the year… They labeled Florence Inexperienced, but in short term she won the WAFCON without quality preparation, she only played U17 boys team and the Nigeria Women premier league team but look at Randy who has been given heaven on Earth failing continuously he’s still there.. NFF where blaming Florence that she was the one who gingered the girls to go for protest because they haven’t been paid.. what a silly excuse |

Na Amaju Pinnick put us for this mess. There was no reason for us employing a foreign coach as our local coaches have done well with the team both locally and internationally. Our team is now a caricature, African teams are no longer scared of us. P.H.E teacher dey coach Super Falcons. Allah shi kiyaye. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 12:39pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
So many damaging results for the Super Falcons in recent run of games but what should the NFF do to ensure Super falcons have a good world cup in Australia/New Zealand? You can add yours. #NaijaFootballers #FIFAWWC

Deltamani:Sack Randy Employ a sound foreign coach ( on a short team basic) Make Okobi player/coach, ( to learn from the new coach) |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:06pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
do4luv14:The money to pay Randy off is the major problem right now, So they can’t even afford a World Class Coach like Morocco and Algeria have done.. The best for now will be Ex- international and Florence Omagbemi and Mercy Akide Udoh stands out among the rest.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:07pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
do4luv14:Talking about player Coach, Onome Ebi and Rita are the ones In such position… |

codemaniacs:Who should they replace please? Because Colombia fielded their U20 players, we should do same too? Name the U20 players that should make the team and those that should make way for them in the current squad. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 2:19pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
do4luv14:Okobi? ![]() |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 2:21pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:What if we relegate Randy to assistant coach with Florence or Mercy as the head coach? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 2:30pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:And Amaju is largely responsible for this. Imagine this guy still hunting Nigerian football even after leaving. Randy got a 2 years contract after (Guess when?) After WAFCON. Randy got rewarded with a 2 year control after a shambolic continental display. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by codemaniacs: 2:30pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
mostob:the post you quoted already lists the U20 and U17 players that should make the team.. you should be ashamed to say "Because Colombia fielded their U20 players".. if the U20 players of another country can beat the Super Falcons then there's no need going to World Cup. the entire midfield that started against Colombia should be benched or not invited. Debbie Abiodun, Esther Onyenezide, Afolabi and Usani can do a better job.. the entire front 3 that started against Colombia should be benched or not invited. Gift Monday, Flourish Sabastine, Ajakaye and Joy Jerry can perform much better. Plumptre and Payne should never ever play FullBacks again, Alani, Edafe, Usani, Imuran can play fullback.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 2:33pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
mostob:Again, it boils down to the terms of his contract (The NFF's contract with coaches during Amaju's tenure are sadly shrouded in secrecy). |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 2:43pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
mostob:Jokes aside I really loved her attitude in the first game. She was talking the players on the pitch and even had water out for them at some points. Some players would have been pouting on the bench for 90 minutes. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 2:54pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
Some are busy suggesting player-coach. because the National team looks like Bayelsa Queens to you right? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 2:57pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
lovewins:In that case, there are already ways to communicate with the Coach. My response was specifically for someone missing games because the coach is underperforming. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 3:08pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
codemaniacs:I should be ashamed? SMH I just finished reading your gaffe at the other thread only to come here and meet another one. The question I asked is who are these U20s replacing? Do you even know the meaning and importance of exposure? We're talking coaching here, you are promoting U20 agenda. A coach that can not properly manage professional and experienced players, how will he manage the upcoming ones? The fact that it works for Colombia doesn't mean it will work for us oga. Try dey think before you write (type). Man said I should be ashamed ![]() |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 3:09pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
lovewins:We can do that on mutual agreement. I'm not a lawyer but I believe we can use the 'poor results' card. Since you're not producing result, resign or step down. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 3:10pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
Deltamani:I felt the money to pay him off might be much so reducing his significance in the team while saving money might not be bad. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 3:13pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
BascoVanVeli:Oga Basco, what if the team divides? Onome Ebi as the player coach will even be tougher not to talk of Okobi. An ideal player coach should be someone the team respect and look up to and IMO, Okobi and Ebi is neither of both. |

isan:Two of them are best as backroom staff than head coaches. Not even the Morocco team will see these two carpenters and consider them worthy to be on the technical crew. Smh. |

codemaniacs:The tempo alone shows we can't even match Canada aa we speak. They need to be finishing up patterns of attack and defending by now. But see the disjointed play that reeks of mediocrity. Olowokere will do better than this man as regards formation and tactics, even if he's not someone i want to rate. Smh |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by codemaniacs: 3:30pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
mostob:I didn't have any gaffe on the other thread just some people who didn't agree with what I saying talking down on me to rubbish my opinion instead of politely saying they don't agree with what I'm saying... Nigerians are pros when talking down on other Nigerians and the herd joins them to talkdown on the person they don't agree with. Having younger players means more stamina and pressing from the super falcons even though the coach does not know how to coach the younger players might make his game better. Wasn't it the brilliance of 17 year old Linda caicedo that scored the winner against super falcons that makes the colombian coach look better. If a 17 year old player had been scoring winning goals for the super falcons will you guys be here complaining of Waldrum ![]() |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 3:42pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
codemaniacs:Ok.. You have not answered my question. Who are those who should be replaced with the U20s and U17s currently in our squad? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by codemaniacs: 3:45pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
mostob:I've answered your question in the previous quote. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 3:51pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
mostob:Contracts don't work that way. If he isn't working well, of course the NFF is at liberty to fire him. They only need to deal with the consequences of that per what the contract says. The "use poor result" angle becomes valid, again if it is a clause included in the contract else it isn't enforceable. The other part is if Randy out of the magnanimity of his heart decides to call it quit and cuts the NFF some slack, but that will be his decision to make. Every boils down to the fine prints. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 3:54pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
lovewins:We're still saying the same thing. We can persuade him to resign mutually or use the 'poor results' clause if it was included in the contract. I just want the man out. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 3:56pm On Feb 19, 2023 |
codemaniacs:You didn't drop any name. You mentioned Opeyemi, Alani, Usani and others. You didn't mention those they will replace. |
