Hello my brother. How can I reach you? Please I have some questions I need your advice on.

I have had 2 Canada student visa refusals and I am working on applying soon. Although, I have now realized somethings I did wrong with both applications that were refused.

First Application: I used an agent that didn't care about the outcome of the application but just to get their money
Second Application: I didn't pay part of the tuition, my admission was for diploma and I have a bachelors degree already and some diplomas with over 10 years of working experience. Now I realize that was me shooting myself in the foot.

Since my last application though my life has changed for the better.

1. I am now married. I think this gives a boost to the application (not sure)
2. Significant increase in my income

I don't know if the university of admission also plays a role in one's chances of getting PPR.

I plan on getting admission for a Masters degree this time around.

What University would you advice I apply for admission to. Please bear in mind, I am in the tech industry, a Software Engr. with over a decade of professional work experience.

No single Update for over 12 weeks. after this days I started sending mails every 2 days and a good Muslim friend that I met on this forum God bless him for me, he has been helping since last year with lot of encouragement and guides, for like 3 months we haven't chatted my mind just say I should chat him ooo and give him update on my application. I told him I haven't gotten any single update on my application since I submitted and this already over 12weeks, and I have also sent series of mails and contacted my MP........The next thing he said I should continue sending mails. and he also said he will other my Gcms notes for me free and his going to use his card to pay.. I was like wow.....God bless you boss and may Almighty Allah perfect everything that concerns you. we did all these on 9th Aug. The next day early morning at 5.30 Sent another mail and this time I ensure my subject is eyes catching, then, I prayed morning prayer after. May be these 2 things triggered my application who knows.. Since I was tired of checking.. I checked in the afternoon just saw Eligibility has started I just continue with my usual prayer ooo and here today 15th Aug PPR.

What I did differently, I changed my school and my course, Master in Accounting. I did Accounting in Bsc and ND. Also work in that area. For the travel, renewed my Germany visa in January and travelled in Feberuary. My wife and I visited Dubai for 5days during the Eid-Fitr Muslim Holiday and arrived Nigeria May 5th. I explained these in my Letter of explanation. the reason for changing course and to further strengthen my travel assertions. have travelled to all these country without violating any immigration laws. All in all.. It can ONLY be GOD. Let me also add that I Just resumed another new job today ooo Double blessings....Alhamdulilah for everything.

I pray that everyone awaiting decision on their applications get Approved Bikudiratilahi Ameen. And if you have been delayed Pls don't give up, delay is not denial. Never say Never. Please don't and don't give up.

To the best of my understanding, if truly the lumpsum is from your salary account, you dont need to wait till May. What you need to do is to provide proofs such as Payslip of how the money come up to be rather than delaying your application. then you give detailed explanation that the money was moved from your salary account to personal account by probably showing that portion from your salary account as it was transfered.

This is my 3rd application. Actually, I did not know today is my day of testimony or this application will be approved. I even started my master's in Nigeria already because I have lost every hope after 2 denials.

Let me add this, I did not submit my soa bcuz it is just school fee and upkeep allowance from my father that enters it so there is nothing hefty in my account so I was told not to submit it

I dedicate this approval to God almighty and my family. Appreciation also goes to @Sopwriter. This man really helped me with advices. He called me with his airtime and guided me from A to Z.

To other hopefuls, please don't give up because that last try may be where the testimony is. I started my master's in Nigeria already and today I am rejoicing

Probably you are using most of the company fund to sponsor, remember your business is a separate entity.

Except if you have another source of funds apart from the business.

People with less money are getting approval so it depends.

As a newbie in canada it can be hard to get a job because employers like work experience like breakfast ,lunch and dinner. I have seen some students waiting to get the job of their dream for months and their parents are still sending them money for their rents and other expenses to the point they are relaxing, not knowing they need to build resume. Take advantage of volunteering in school too, its helps to get jobs.

How did you explain the officers concern please.

I tackled the reasons he quoted for refusing my application via the GCMS note as best as I could i.e he said I didn’t show proof of earnings or savings while my employment documents were submitted, I simply submitted my bank statements alongside my sponsors to show my monthly salary inflow and previous money in my account to tackle this particular reason and in my letter of explanation I stated this and explained where every single lump sums in mine and my sponsors account came from with documents to back them up. I hope it’s clearer now ??
