It will always be better to be honest. Besides Nelisa is not Olivia's friend so she doesn't need to tell her anything , but Blue will now be feeling betrayed cos Olivia is her friend. And yes they can plan, they don't need to be friends to make plans to take out someone

I was even expecting Blaq to be questioned about his 'triangle' but no, na to lie against Olivia im sabi

You know what, I think Lawrence saved olivia there. From where I am, there is a lot that he could have said that olivia says to other girls about blu that could have been more hurtful to blu. He was warning her that we are hearing what she says. That ipeleng and tsatsi were talking about not liking blu, does not paint olivia bad in any way, she just passed what she heard. The people that blu could possibly hate from that reveal is ipeleng and tsatsi, because they said they don't like blu. The only fault lawrence pin pointed in olivia was why she didn't tell blu as her friend.
If olivia was wise, what she should take from that reveal is that we frown on people who betray their 'friends' , which if we are being honest, she does.

The point is the lie .
The fact that Lawrence lied.

Ipeleng and Tsatsii were talking about nelisa. If Lawrence had simply been truthfully and said that. They would have a different reaction maybe even laugh it off because they know that they were talking about nelisa.. now they would be wondering if Olivia goes around lying on them to Yvonne and nana

If Lawrence had simply said the truth. Olivia would have answered why she told Yvonne and nana about the gossip between ipeleng and Tsatsii about nelisa instead of telling nelisa about it.
Nelisa and Olivia barely talk. So that would have been a non issue.
