GRVLagos:

1. Hopefully Lp continues the momentum from feb 25th and win the majority in the house but my government will work simply and effeciently, oue policies and actions will be so in interests of the constituents of Lagos that fighting it will be akin to fighting those who elected

2. all projects and contracts will be reviewed, a cost benefit analysis applied and benchmark the project to world bank standards to make sure the contracts aren't padded. we will continue and improve on the good projects being done and rework the ones that are not of value to the people of lagos.

3. I will work with whoever is in federal office to serve the people of lagos well, synergy obviously would be easier depending on what becomes of the current cases against inec ( they have too many questions to answer for the poor execution of the elections last weekend where they repeatedly failed to execute their own laws and protocols), but again my vision and mission is to serve the people and I will have to work with who is commander in chief, I have no plans to fight the federal government, I will present my plans and ideas to federal government which I believe collaboration would be beneficial to the people of lagos.

4. Improved waste management, provision of more public bins as well improving our drainage systems and making sure they are covered and refuse free. all these would rapidly improve the smell of lagos.

We want to enjoy federal and state synchrony this 4 years.

What I'd advise:
Go and work on yourself and public image
Use the next 4 years to improve your yoruba language
Apologise to yoruba and use the next 4 years to assure your loyalty to yoruba people. You need to be able to show that empathy and belonging.
At this moment, theres serious disdain towards u because they see u as an enemy which is very bad.
I hope u find this tips useful so u can prepare for 2027. As for this year, I don't think you are ready, Lagos is not ready for experimentation, the people are not ready to accept you.

I'm not your enemy, it's politics and I'd be here and offline to continue fighting for the interest of my people by campaigning against u. Things may change and the next 4 years, who knows u may have a better chance

Really? How is he going to finance all that? How long will it take him? Is he depending solely on Lagos IGR? Iā€™m still expecting to read practical answers not just theories.

Iā€™m glad he agreed on this.

Igbo christians don't hate Muslims rather its the politicians of APC who are using propaganda to fuel hate among tribes and religion to continue their corrupt election.
Igbo christians hate Muslims with 95% hatred while 5% is for the love of worldly gain affairs. Check their comment here from when the internet has started in Nigeria. They called northern Muslims different abusive names everyday.

Mr chinedu gbadebo, how are you going to rule the Lagosian that contains Muslims in the state because Igbo Christians hate anything about Muslims in Nigeria and the world?

Even Muslims hate Christians in Nigeria. That's why APC went for Muslim Muslim ticket because they hate Christians.

The only thing you are using is tribalism and religion bigotry. That makes you a total failure

He finished from MIT then went to get masters from unilag.
Does that sound normal to you?

Exactly my thoughts. Didn't just mention it the first time.

If you finish MIT for Bachelors, to even go to a University of Pennsylvania or Pittsburgh for Masters is a retrogression.

Just wouldn't happen. Not to talk of coming back to UNILAG.

Yes, Apc believed that only Muslim -Muslim tickets can guarantee the party's victory in the election and it worked for the party. Tell Obituary Peter to go for igbo Christian - Igbo Christian ticket in 2027 if you believe you have the numbers.

I honestly believe Sanwoolu should step down for GRV, he has been in power for the past 4 years with very little to show for it. The standards of living for the average Lagosian under Sanwo and APC have been drastically dwindled.
Moreso, the youths and the people rejected Sanwo's party the last election as he doesn't have much to offer Lagosians.

GRV will do great and i want to assure you that you have the backing of reasonable and well meaning Lagosian.

Its time to rescue Lagos and GRV is the man of the moment.

Mr Governor,

Considering the level of division and tribalism being played in Lagos by politicians, what special package do you have for the INDIGENES of the land or will they be treated like everyone else considering they have no other state they can run to?

Seun:
Peter Obi's defeat of Tinubu in Lagos during the presidential election, and the defeat of many PDP/APC/APGA senate and house of reps candidates by Labour Party candidates have allowed many Labour Party members and supporters to believe that it is possible for the Labour Party to seize control of Lagos State from APC by defeating Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu in the 2023 governorship election of Lagos State.

The man of the moment, who has been tasked with achieving this feat, is Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, also known as GRV. He's a MIT-trained architect, activist, and a politician since 2017. He has agreed to answer your questions about his bid to be the next governor of Lagos State. Please feel free to ask any question and also like and share any question that you want him to answer, so that it will not be missed.

I'll set the ball rolling by asking a simple question:
* Why did you leave architecture for politics after practicing in UK and Nigeria?

Previous thread: https://www.nairaland.com/7542193/gbadebo-rhodes-vivour-lp-lagos-governorship

Seun please tell GRV to start wearing the LP logo on all his clothes in all his appearances like Peter Obi did till the day of the Lagos state Gubernatorial election, it will carry the people, this helped Peter Obi and it will also help him.

He said he is a trained architect from MIT. I still don't understand this. @GRVLagos, did you get bachelor degree from MIT? Or what kind of certificate did you obtain from MIT?

I just want clarification on this, sir.

Mr GRV, eku campaign o

1.Question : With the electoral heist witnessed on the 25th of February where Labour party's votes were massively rigged, don't you think it may lead to voter apathy particularly among the Obidients who are the unsung heroes in this movement to enthrone good governance?

2. Suggestion: I strongly believe that if you and the PDP should leave sentiments and ego aside and team up, it will be a walkover for the alliance in Lagos. A power sharing deal could be agreed upon all in a bid to discard the state capture hegemony of the ruling APC. This solo run may not help either of you because the dynamics have changed and in view of the fact that the APC is still a rabid rigging machine. Having been ruffled during the Presidential election in Lagos, they'll go for broke in their rigging schematic in retaining Lagos which they see as their cash cow.

Thank you, he should come and denounce those post of his or explain what he meant by the word Afonja. He is just brainwashing gullible people just like his principal Obi did.

Most Yoruba youths who voted against Tinubu and who want to vote SanwoOlu out, do not know that their "Messiah" sef get questions to answer as regards SARS activities while he was governor.

A certain James Nwafor who was in charge of Akwuzu SARS in Anambra was declared wanted just after the end SARS wahala. He has been very much linked to Peter Obi, when the government set up an inquiry just like Lagos State did into his involvement, instead of appear to defend himself he hurriedly got a court injunction to stop them from questioning him.

Our people have been brainwashed, the whole Obi movement is nothing but HOGWASH

Just listen to this video you will understand better, this was an interview aired on AIT even before Obi became the candidate of Labour party.

Are you saying Muslims are at tge root of election rigging in Nigeria?

If you have evidence on election rigging, go to court to prove it, here is not tribunal court
