I noticed Canada student thread really lack of answering vital questions people asked, other Nairaland thread like Uk visiting visa or student visa didn’t do that way.

Many people on this Canada student thread are using back door billing innocent and poor members of this thread on what they can explain or teach them how to do.

It will better we should emulate other Nairaland thread by solving others members question, not by posting visa alert, PPR or asking for college group etc alone

Here is the info how to submit your passport in Lagos and Abuja through my searching from past conversations on this Canada student thread


Just print the ppr letter and submit along side your passport,a copy of the data page of your passport and the biometric slip at VFS, if you don't reside in the state where you had your biometrics you can send it via courier make sure you pay for two way

passport submission Information after Study Permit Approval.

For Lagos Office:

Walk into any DHL or UPS store, you can google & check for the one's near you.

This is the Address you will mail your documents to:

canada Visa Application Centre
Ground Floor, The Manor
Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Lekki Phase 1
Lagos
Nigeria

Documents to go with to the DHL Office:

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International passport itself
- passport request letter
- Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics)
-Two copies of signed VFS consent forms

The VFS consent form is available at https://www./vfsconsentform

Put everything in a Big Brown Envelope,

Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly

When you go to DHL, also indicate that you want a two way courier service. Then provide them the address you want your passport sent to when ready.

For Abuja Office:

Put all the documents below in an envelope and send to:

Visa Application Centre
Sterling Bank Plaza, 3rd Floor
Plot No 1083, Mohammadu Buhari Way,Central Business District
Abuja
Nigeria

Documents:
-2 duly signed consent forms.
-2 copies of passport data page
-passport Request Letter
-Yellow biometric slip
-Receipt of payment of transmission fee N9,410 (you will pay this fee if you didn't capture biometrics at Abuja VFS)

How did you answer the question about denied visa or entry to canada or another country? Have you ever been denied visa? Did you declare it?

That is usually the question they pick as misrepresentation.

This could be termed misrep.
Thank God it didn’t lead to PF.

And NO you can’t apply right away.
You must get your notes to understand where the VO must have thought you were dishonest-

directly address that in a reapplication.

Just look for the cheapest option and go for it.

No I didnot, I went to dhl and paid them , and also pay for returning courier paid to their sterling bank and attach the receipt of 1applicant on the file .

The cheapest flights are African airlines.

I used Ethiopia airline. 2 stops, one at Addis Ababa and the other at Dublin. Your last stop would be at Toronto Pearson airport Ontario.

Please how much did you book the airbnb?

Can't remember the exact amount but it was a little over a thousand CAD for 1month. I booked literally 3 days to my departure thats why it was that expensive.

If you don't have any one to receive you at the airport or to stay with, I'd suggest you book early for cheaper rooms. Get here, take an Uber to your Airbnb.

Bank rate is about 340 - 345 CAD.
Black market is going to be around 540 - 570 CAD, I'm no certain.
IRCC rate is a bit higher than bank rate but not as much as black market rate.

If you're not comparing any specific service then you can simply use any of them as they both offer the same service at the same cost.

Good question , I was hesitant at first cos I wasn't sure and didn't want to be scammed, but after getting familiar with their service I realised that it was safe.
You will need to pay, Airbnb will send you an invoice to your email confirming the booking.
You can even chat with the host via the app before and after payment. I did that and he was nice enough to pick me from the airport.

Pls I need answer on if I need to book appointment for biometrics and how to go about it. Abuja. ??

Cheap flights is normally by date most of the time. The closer it is the more expensive it is, but feel free to check wakanow or skyscanner
