This is disinformation.

Indigenes of Lagos:

Alimosho - Yewa (Egbado)
Badagry - Awori/Oyo/Ogus (Ogus also known are Eguns are settlers from Quidah)
Mushin - Egbas and Ijebus own most of the lands there
Ifako Ijaye - Oyo
Oshodi - Awori
Kosofe - Egbas
Okorodu - Ijebu
Epe - Ijebu
Shomolu - Ijebu own most of the lands there
Lagos Island and most of the rest - Awori

Who came FIRST? When we remove sentiments and focus on factually written evidence, nobody can argue that the Aworis and Ogus first settled in what is now known as Lagos before all the other groups arrived......Please educate yourself!

It's because you are new to politics. Winning in Lagos is always very competitive. Even the 2003 is very turf than now. Obasanjo really used all federal might and other means to stop Tinubu second term. APC will always win just wait and see. And pls qoute me here if i wrong.

kk2027:
My guess is that PDAPC in Lagos has always worked together. I may be wrong but I have never really seen any strong opposition in Lagos.

I was telling someone then that I think Jimi Agbaje just dey play then.

APC has never really had any opposition in Lagos because if you pay close attention, you'll see the PDP candidate is usually "unserious" about opposing the government of the day

For the first time, I see APC being given a run for their money in Lagos

I pray a true Lagosian wins this time, they deserve to govern their own state just like others are doing in their various states

APC knows how to cage PDP. BAT is actually a sound political strategist.

If BAT is actually a sound political strategist, how come he loses his state of origin Osun, Lagos state where he governed and FCT. Infact BAT is nobody as long as Nigeria politics is concerned.

Winning his state, FCT and osun wasn't a criteria for winning the over all elections..

Sanwoolu's 3rd term is a done deal

What factually written evidence are you yapping about when Oyo empire controlled badagry port before King Ghezo displaced Ogus (Egun) from Quidah? Pray tell how Eguns got there before Oyo and Awori?

How did Awori settle in Alimosho before Yewa when Yewas have always been there and Alimosho was cut from Ogun to be part of Lagos state?

And I'm assuming you have never heard about Ijebu kingdom and where it controlled from the 9th century cos if you did you won't say Awori and Ogus settled in Ikorodu and Epe before Ijebus. In case you don't know, Ijebu controlled most of the coast of today's Lagos from the 9th century as part of Ijebu kingdom and they were the first people in present day Nigeria the Europeans had contact with.

Etc. Stop posting disinformation.

Read Yoruba history. @abbey621

Start with this map (expand it to see where Lagos falls and which parts of Lagos were under which people but some were taken later by conquest because Egbas defeated Aworis in Ota to take most of Kosofe from them).

The person that took third might have cheated to get to that position and if the exam is conducted again ,he might end up coming 4th or 6th😞.

What Sanwo is doing is simply playing to the gallery and moreover ,the headless mob are zombie like creatures, they’ve voted thugs and rooks in place of scholars and masters just because they see a tag called elu something.

for instance ,I live in ibeju lekki area .

The deep sea port was just completed and there’s ongoing construction work on lekki epe expressway. Buhari came to commission these projects recently along line imota rice mills which is the biggest in west Africa.

He also commissioned modern school buildings for Elemoro in the same area .

There are many more of his impact round Lagos . Not to even talk about the blue rail line and data centers he commissioned

And his administrative works are top notch too .

You're funny, we are talking about first settler in Lagos as awhole not just a locality! There's no documented evidence that Ijebu people were living in Lagos before the Aworis, NONE! I'm not talking about fairytale and folklore stories passed down by your great great great grandfather, I'm talking about actual documented evidence. From Ooni of Ife to the Lagos Government itself, many who are more enlightened and educated than you can confirm the Aworis are credited as the first settlers of Eko land, so stop it!

Now if we want to talk about fairytale and folklore, I've got you beat as well. Go and read about Prince Olofin (Oduduwa's son) and his followers and how they migrated from Oduduwa's palace downwards and formed what is now known as Abeokuta, Iddo and finally settling in what is now known as Idumota. Before then, there were simply no records of any group or person settling in Lagos. Epe & Ikorodu were infiltrated by the Ijebus much later not in the 9th century as you've tried to deceptively insinuate, in fact Uraka the hunter from Ile Ife along with his wife came up with the name Epe rather than Igbo Obo that it was formerly known as, unless you classify monkeys as humans, it is safe to say Uraka founded Epe, now ask yourself what does history tell us about Uraka? What does history tell us about the Aworis? A bit of research would show you that Aworis exited before Uraka but I understand if you're too tired to do proper research grin grin grin
