Generally for P2P Express on Binance, the higher the amount of busd you're buying, the cheaper the exchange rate.

If you were buying like 1 million naira worth of busd, your price could have been 744.

It is at the post office closest to your shipping address. Sometimes nobody will call you to tell you that your item is at the post office.

Now I can’t make payment on AliExpress nor can I withdraw the money back to my Nigerian account. I’ve contacted their customer support on their website and for the past 3 days I have been talking to 3 different representative. All repeating the same thing that
- I should send screenshot of the error code
- They’re working on fixing it
- They’ve fixed it and I should try again.
Yet it would not work.

I want to know if it’s only Cardify that’s having issue or the other fintech apps are all having the same issues.

You didn't check very well, you can see the price there is just reference price, that 744 is reference price. By the time you click on "Buy with 0 fees" it brings out the actual rate at which you're buying the busd. And next time buy usdt(quite cheaper) , and convert to busd.

When buying usd via Binance P2P express, Binance will automatically select a registered Binance merchant (usually with a very high rate) for you. Instead of doing that, you can (and should) manually select a trader with the cheapest exchange rate.

Most registered Binance merchants only trade for profit. They buy and sell usdt, busd, etc. in very large amounts to maximise their profit. The higher their trading limits (i e. the amount you need to hold before you can enter a trade with them), the bigger their profits. They can buy 5000 usd at 744 and sell at 750 - making a profit of ₦30,000 just by doing that. They rinse and repeat.

Eventually, merchants with higher trading limits sell usd at lower exchange rates while merchants with lower trading limits sell at higher exchange rates.

This mess usually happens during peak trading periods. So the best time to buy usd should be during off-peak periods (usually late night to early morning hours)

As at 3 AM today and with only ₦10k, you can buy usd at the rate of 741.5

Under filter settings, you should turn off "Only show ads from merchants" to see more favourable rates from other traders.

What's the error you're experiencing. If it is due to verification, you can appeal by sending the app details. I will advice nairalanders to be careful of these fintech providing virtual dollar services, especially those promoting them here. They are here for their own selfish gain. Newbee should be extremely careful and always ask questions here before rushing to open account on these app

Kindly note that Cardify has two card types, the basic dollar card (Mastercard) and the standard dollar card (Visa), both can be funded with NGN or Stablecoins.

Only the standard dollar card (visa) works with Aliexpress, but you tried to use your basic dollar card instead.

Also, please note that you can easily unload your card to load another card type (at no extra cost) or withdraw. Kindly message our support if you facing any more issue.

You guys should stop patronising those merchants who claim to offer you cheap dollar but their effectiveness has not been proven over time. Anyone promising you dollar at ridiculous rate is deceiving you because, there is no cheap dollar anywhere in Nigeria today. There are good merchants over there, their rate may be high, but you can count on them to deliver when you need them. A word is enough for the wise.

I currently have a problem with speedaf and want someone who had witness this before to advise me. I'm in ilaro ogun state. Usually for home delivery packages, delivery men come directly from their Ifo office everyday to Ilaro and neighboring towns here. But their first point of call is always a partisan shop inside the federal polytechnic ilaro, where they use as pick up point for Ilaro. That is where I went to collect my first ever pick up in January as I mostly have home delivery. But I have another one stuck at Ifo since a week now and I have tried all means to get to speedaf, they keep promising. How can my item remain there when they have riders coming here everyday. I hope they have not been employing those we all know from Nipost. The attached is the one I collected in January, see the time it took from Ifo to Ilaro. Thank you.
