Good morning everyone, i am confused here. Are we to legalize our documents at the Portuguese embassy before applying to universities in Portugal or authentication and legalization is after admission have been given?

Application for students visa is through the Portugal embassy. I learnt they will be opening at the Embassy shortly as everything is now in place for that purpose.

They are opening gradually, but it is those for tourist visa that are being attended for now, hopefully in few weeks time, they will start legalization and possibly attending to those on working visa too.

Please how did confirm this, did you get direct info from the embassy or someone you know went to apply for a visiting visa successfully?

Lecturers and students deserve to be denied visas because they abuse the educational route to run from the country.

While politicians should be approved visas so they can learn from other countries how to use our little resources to our advantage.

I have an insider there, i do go there often for legalization and for other purpose
Infact i was there yesterday, there's a new Ambassador, he is trying to streamline somethings.

which part of the Nordic Region exactly? The part doesnt really matter anyways,
You can easily move to Portugal from any of the 7 Scandinavian countries as long as you are living their legally and you have any of resident permit or citizenship

How does one go about visa process since the embassy isn't available at the moment?

is the embassy still closed? at this rate will it be possible to process visa for september university entry? I dont want to spend money and apply to universities and end up disappointed, pls advice.
