@airsaylongcome Pls stop this argument if he no agree let him (Unknown31) say whatever he like. NLNG don't consider nepotism. They announced job vacancies officially unlike CBN, NCC, NPA. etc. Every applicant have chance of making it. Let's Pray and work hard.

airsaylongcome:

You have basically said the way NLNG recruits is based on nepotism and not on competence. That rubbishes their first core value, Integrity. And that has reputational implications

This will assist the next set of Engineering GTs if SHL decides to set the same question then. Good luck!

Lol! I remember your moniker!! Would be nice if someone at IMT would deem it fit to smoke out the person behind that moniker. It’s almost bordering on reputational damage on the business.

and i remember you. smiley Good job you're doing here. I hope they're listening to you and learning.

Thank you for the compliment. I hope they are listening and learning too.

Funny thing is that I now understand things from your perspective during the last GT cycle. There is always a lot of chatter about nepotism allegedly coming in to play. And I understand why, given how jaga jaga Nigeria is. Especially as many people see the business as a government parastatal. Hopefully you can periodically chip in a word or two here in the course of the recruitment (even though I know and appreciate that this isn't something you can commit to). All the same, thank you for dropping a word for "them" here.

Great submissions as always, Airsay. Known your brilliance from our GT13 days here and during your short stint in Bonny (we crossed paths a few times albeit indirectly through other mutual GT friends)

If only Folks here had any idea on how much the insights you're providing here is actually worth.
Even funnier to see some of the outrageous commentary and outright falsehood been propagated by @unknown31 moniker. My advice, take @Nicer 's counsel and don't play yourself any further.

Airsay,
I'm on the EH swim lane. Will touch base privately. Thanks for all do freely here. Cheers

I don't blame people for some of the chatter; there's a lot of nepotism in the country so it's hard for people to believe an organization exists where it doesn't work. It's the people who confidently discourage others with their falsehood that I have a problem with. I'll certainly try to chip a word from time to time, it's just that I get so busy. I will try to show up more. Thanks. People won't appreciate what you're doing here till they face the AC themselves. Good looking out.

So it's good to see Nicer and GoalZero1 comment here. It kind of makes me believe that more people than just prospective GTs are here. I've always known though that some employees (at least fellow GTS) are on this thread. I must emphasize that they are here in their private capacities mostly re-living their experience as prospective GTs. Nicer was semi-active on our GT thread (which made his moniker very memorable when I saw it here). I can't say too much more about him. GoalZero1 I'm sure I will be able to recall him if we had mutual GT friends.

So to clear the air, I have absolutely NO ulterior motive when I come here to share my experience during the recruitment process. For me, it's more about giving you guys, all the information and resources I wish I had when I was going through the process. And making it publicly available, in one place for use now and possibly in future by other GTS (I'm not sure I'm going to be as interested in any future recruitment). When I was preparing, I spent hours and hours googling and researching. Many of those hours could have been saved if there was a "repository" of all that the process entailed. At the end of this process, I'd be happy to hear that people were successful leveraging the info I'm dumping here.

You see almost all our questions are here, would you say the questions leaked because they were found here? I feel the notion about questions leaking is just false propaganda.

it actually did leak sha. People took live pictures by connecting their system to an HDMI cord. People registered more than once with different emails and details, some snapped random papers, converted it to PDF and uploaded as their credentials (NLNG are to blame for this for not checking each application documents undecided). In all, the multiple accounts got the test invites.
The only one I can say did not leak is the checking test and that was because of the time constraint, but for Mech and General, the questions are everywhere. Na who know road go sabi what's up lol. Even those that got it are here fighting tooth and nail to discredit it lol.
