Imagine the height of deceipts. A Yoruba man from Ogun, or Osun telling a true lagosian not to vote their own brother and sons but vote them. And to add pepper to injury, this osun and Ogun immigrants branded your own brother outcast and you are appruading them. Quick two questions. How many Lagosian have ruled Lagos or made half of the money Tinubu stole from Lagos? How many Lagosians have gone to Ogun or Osun to contest for governorship and win? An ananmbra man can not come to Ebonyi to contest election and win neither will any south east person go to any other south east state to try such. So, the ball is now on your court true Lagosian. Don't fall to this cheap blackmail from all this Yoruba immigrants from other sw states. Don't be a slave in your own land.

Waiting concern Igbos with gubernatorial positions in Lagos or any other states. No Igbo man have ever gone to any other states to contest for governorship. But according to the constitution, every Nigerians has the power to vote anywhere he or she resident. Ours is just to vote and yours (the true indigene) is to contest. And from my rights accorded to me by the constitution of Nigeria, I say vote for LP from top to bottom in Lagos states.

Igbos are the most civilized tribe. We don't threaten people on who to vote and not to vote. We have never burnt any person shops, houses or business places.

Igbos don't do tribalism and don't even have time for it when he is supposed to be making money in his shop. Tribalism is practice be jobless tribal bigots and supported by brainless individual.

You all should have known the Igbos by now, Igbos don't succumb to threat. It's not today they have started threatening the Igbos. For years the Igbos have been threatened in the north but we are still strong there. In 2015, the Oba of Lagos who instead of supportibg his own, Agbaje but due to poor rational ability and low self esteem, threatened the Igbos of Lagoon if they should vote for Agbeje his own brother. What happened? Igbos all came out to vote en mass for Agbeje.
Come March 18th, even the Igbos that don't want to vote before in Lagos will come out enmass to vote for Gbadebo. The average Igboman Loves challenges and hate it when one try to play god over another. We don't do eye service, we say it as it is and leave the truth glaring to your face.

Gbadebo is a true Lagosian and not an immigrants like Sanwolu. He is the most qualified to be governor of Lagos state. For long Lagosians have been sidelined to one corner and scavengers from Ogun and Other part of SW have been syphoning the resources and wealth of Lagos. The money Tinubu has stollen from Lagos no true Lagosians have made such in his or her 100yrs on earth.

The good news is that true Lagosians have the opportunity to reclaim their state back from all this immigrants rascals from SW by supporting one of their own Gbadebo of LP or continued slaving away to this rascals from neighbouring SW state. Reclaiming back your state does not make you guys less Yoruba neither those it make you guys Igbo apologies as this rascals immigrants from SW had made you believe over the years. For it is the right thing to do by reclaiming back your state and governing your state. Lagosains, it is time to begin to put on your thinking cap. For example, there are also large percentage of Igbos in Ogun state. They live happily with their Yoruba brothers. Now a quick thought, why are they not fighting them in Ogun? If truly Igbos want to take SW, why are they not bothered about them in Ogun and other SW states as they do in Lagos. Yea, your guess is correct. It's simply because they want to continue to govern your state and continue to steal from the rich resources of Lagos. They knew very well that the Igbo man always vote competent leader who understood ecomony very well and who will create an enabling environment for businesses to strive. That's the only reason they fight against the Igbos in Lagos. They see the Igbos as a threat to achieve their demonic aim which is to syphon Lagos wealth to themselves.

To the true Lagosians, you now have the power and opportunity to correct this years of stealing, intimidations and ethnic blindfolding in your land by voting your own son Gbadebo of LP as governor or continue to be govern by criminals from Ogun, Osun, and Oyo while turning your own royal father's, the Oba of Lagos to mere puppet and political and ethnic bullying, your eligible sons to govern to outcasts and your children children to touts. Don't be deceived be wise, Igbos are not your problem, Igbos have been respectful and helping to develop your state and also helping you true Lagosians reclaim back your state. The ball to reclaim back your state is now on your court.

A member of Lagos' Idejo hereditary nobility, Chief Oluwa was a direct descendant of Olofin Ogunfunmire. His family had dominion over a patchwork of villages and towns in the Apapa area of Lagos.

He held strong nationalist views, arguing that the British colonial government did not have the right to deprive his overlord Eshugbayi Eleko, the Oba of Lagos, of his ancestral powers. To this end, he served as a co-founder of the National Congress of British West Africa.

In 1920, the chief, Prince Adeniji Adele and Herbert Macaulay journeyed to London to appear before the Privy Council. They were there to argue in defense of the Oba's right of ownership to land forcefully appropriated by the British Government. In Amodu Tijani v Secretary, Southern Nigeria, the Council ultimately ruled in their favour. This case proved to be a landmark in Nigerian history as it recognised the chiefs as absolute owners of the land.[1]

Songs and poems were later composed in Chief Oluwa's honour as a result of his success. His case was later referenced in land tenure cases as far afield as India and New Zealand.[2][3]

Lagos Was Owned By The British For 99 Years - Rufai Oseni Shares Treaty Cession Document (Photo)

Arise TV News presenter and author, Rufai Oseni has added his voice to the recent tribal arguments amongst Lagosians over the 'ownership' of Lagos State, IGBERETV reports.

The argument got intense following the campaign of Labour Party's Lagos gubernatorial aspirant, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour whose mother is Igbo. Also, Labour Party's presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi who is from Anambra state won Lagos State in the just concluded presidential poll against former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu.

In a tweet on Wednesday, March 15, Oseni said Lagos was a British colony until it was ceded to a Lagos Monarch

He went on to state that some of the developments in the state were made by the British. He also shared a photo showing the treaty cessation document between the then British government and Oba Dosunmu.

Oseni refused to acknowledge the positions that "Lagos is no man's land," or that "it is a Yoruba land".

He wrote;

Lagos State is a Creation of the Nigerian military government.

By the way, there is nothing contentious in saying Lagos State is Yoruba land.

The whole of Nigeria once belonged to Royal Niger company as a private property. It doesn't mean there were no indigenous Hasuas in Kano or indigenous Igbos in Anambra at that time.

The eguns deny they are Yorubas. Yoruba was a derogatory term coined by the invading Fulani jihadist to describe the people of Oyo. It means people that slippery that can't be trusted. Later the term caught on and all other tribes with language close to that of Oyo accepted the term except a few like the Eguns.

Are you the Edo person that claim Lagos belong to your village headmaster? Tell you village headmaster to come and collect it. What is he waiting for?
