You hit the nail on the head! Not only did Onyi transfer to a bigger program (Miss. State to Florida State), so did Nicole Payne (West Virginia to USC). Confident Debbie would easily walk into the Pitt starting 11 and become a star player in the ACC women's soccer conference, as well as getting a GREAT education. Best move! lovewins: |

Update: We Were Owed $100,000 Per-Player By Pinnick's Administration - Super Eagles Player Cries 🇳🇬😰 I just hope our darling Falcons ain’t in the same boat. A Super Eagles player who wished to remain unanimous has made a shocking revelation to Owngoal Nigeria saying that the former NFF Boss, Amaju Pinnick, owed them earned bonuses. According to the player per the report by Owngoal, Pinnick owed to the tune of$100,000 Per-Player before making way for a new administration to take over. "It can't be that bad again and I am not sure it has ever been that bad. For two years that I was in the team not a single bonus was paid to us. The senior players told us they got their bonus for AFCON 2019 in 2022. He left without making the payment and now the new board will have to settle us," he told Owngoal Nigeria. Now out of action for a while for the Super Eagles, the player Allays fear he might not be paid his earned allowances. "I have not been in the team for a while but for the period of time I was there and my recent interaction from my teammates it's around $100,000 per player. I heard the new President will meet with the Captains to clear it up. For now I'm afraid we might never get that money back," he cried in conclusion. |

Marozsan announces his resignation from the national team The German national team will have to do without one of their best players at the 2023 World Cup: Dzsenifer Marozsan has announced her resignation from the DFB selection. Dzsenifer Marozsan will no longer be seen in the DFB dress. "Because of my serious knee injury in spring 2022, I realized that it felt right to retire from the national team," Marozsan is quoted as saying on the DFB website. "The missed EM in England was one of many signs." Marozsan made her debut for the German national team in 2010 and has made 111 appearances since then. For a long time she led the German women onto the field as captain. With the DFB selection, she became European champion in 2013 and Olympic champion in 2016. Marozsan has also enjoyed great success at club level. She won the Champions League with 1. FFC Frankfurt and triumphed five times in the top European competition with Olympique Lyon. With Lyon she also won four championships and three cups. She has also received several personal awards, three times she was voted Germany's footballer of the year. In France she was once given this honor. However, Marozsan has struggled with serious injuries in recent years. In March 2022 she tore her cruciate ligament, which resulted in an injury break of several months. In the meantime she has reached her usual level of performance again, but her decision is made. "I'm doing well again at the club, but my knee isn't the same anymore - I have to work a lot so that I can complete all the training sessions and games," she explained. "I think it would just be too much to do internationals, preparation and the tournament." So Marozsan will draw the line under her DFB career - on April 11 in Nuremberg at the Max Morlock Stadium against Brazil - it will most likely be her 112th and last international match in front of a great crowd. Voss-Tecklenburg: "A great personality and an outstanding footballer" "I have the utmost respect for Dzsenifer Marozsan's decision," said national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg. "She is a great personality and an outstanding footballer who has done an incredible amount for German football." For the 2023 World Cup in New Zealand and Australia (July 20 to August 20), the resignation of the 30-year-old means a weakening for the German national team. In Group H, the DFB selection will face Morocco, Colombia and South Korea.
