Chasing clout with this type of tragedy is a whole new level of mental disorder.

Is Luth the only hospital in Lagos?

Perhaps if Samuel Ortom was a Good Governor and Benue economy was booming, Debbie won't be in crowded Lagos

Lagos with not more than 2million indegene caters for 22 million Nigeria with no extra allocation or funding

If the argument is Lagos has seaport,

In just 41 months and with Just $1.75 billion USD Lagos built Ibeju Lekki Deep sea port

Can't any other state access funding of $2billion and build a functional port

When i go to any hospital in Nigeria. I look for a very high ranking doctor or personnel and give a gift of substantial amount to take care of my patient. It has always worked for me when in Nigeria.

Cater has how? Do they supply them electricity, cooking gas, water? I don't understand. In Lagos everyone is a government to himself

Funny enough Lagos has its own Power Plant, and also supply water through it water corporation but too many people with little resources

My condolence to the family.

As a matter of urgency, that Lagos needs decongestion!

Clearly, medical and essential services are over-stretched!.... Too many people depending on very few resources! This is so abnormal!

As we speak, many more are already preparing to relocate themselves and their families to that same glorified slum!

This is a gross failure of leadership starting from national to states!

What are the other 35 state governors of this nation doing to enhance the economy, productivity, industrialization, security, and living standards of the citizens of their states to check this influx to the commercial capital?!!

There should be better staffed and fitted hospitals across Nigeria than LUTH... States should be well secured and developed to cater for most of their citizens and reduce this influx to Lagos.

Northern Nigeria has enough lands, good roads, social amenities to take up at least 50% of the overpopulation in Lagos, but insecurity and religious extremism won't allow many move down there.

After I almost lost my son in Isolo General hospital, I said bye bye to all government hospitals. Those Yoruba nurses and tribalism na 5 and 6. They abandoned my son, but are eager to attend to those speaking the same language with them.
See this one. Rather, been reflexive on the state of thing. This bigot is throwing a tantrum as if the hospital in his useless state would have done something better.

For each passing day, my soul keeps detesting everything about this shit hole called Nigeria. For God sake, how can we mourn over this innocent soul simply because we have a very useless system. Oh my God, I am so angry right now and feel like doing the unimaginable to this country.

RIP baby girl.

May God console you and gladdens your heart.

As for the Little Girl, may you find mercy with your Lord.

Imagine if every Governor had build Hospitals, Schools and other critical infrastructures needed for everyone to live the life we all see in Foreign Lands, who would want to leave that comfort and come to Lagos?

This is the more reason why we can't keep supporting stooges put in place by the Irabiji President.

Imagine if 10 percent of the money remitted on a monthly basis to the Irabiji landlord had been pushed into healthcare.

Most foreigners would have been flying in from all over the world to Lagos for their medical checkups and treatments. Even ordinary headache will have them running to Nigeria.

We need a young visionary who isn't held by the throat by an old and analogue person who doesn't even use social media.

The op said LUTH which is owned by Federal Government and not LASUTH. So please read welland before you comment cos it has nothing to do with Lagos State Government. How many fucntional hospitals owned by state governments do we have around Nigeria if not Lagos state cos all Lagos hospital are very functional and caring for people though it sad that the Op sister died. RIP to the dead!
