Clearly, medical and essential services are over-stretched!.... Too many people depending on very few resources! This is so abnormal!

As we speak, many more are already preparing to relocate themselves and their families to that same glorified slum!

What are the other 35 states governors of this nation doing to enhance the economy, productivity, industrialization, security, and living standards of the citizens of their states to check this influx to the commercial capital?!!

There should be better staffed and fitted hospitals across Nigeria than LUTH... States should be well secured and developed to cater for most of their citizens and reduce this influx to Lagos.

After I almost lost my son in Isolo General hospital, I said bye bye to all government hospitals. Those Yoruba nurses and tribalism na 5 and 6. They abandoned my son but are eager to attend to those speaking same language with them.

That is a big Lie MR, before my father died i spent close to 8months in the hospital with my Dad, most nurses are saucy, rude,harsh and lazy it as nothing to do with tribe ...

I can relate with what OP is saying cos i saw a lot within those 8month, emergency unit are temporary places, with few nurses, doctor and bed spaces, emotions aside there is nothing Hospitals can do about it cos of the rate Doctor are flying abroad. I saw a lot and it sad to see people cry everyday beside you, even the ones you met in the ward, Life is cruel but we just have to accept it.
One i thing i learnt is those outside don't know what God as done for them. rest on dad

Don't mind them. You've said the most important thing. By landmass alone, Lagos is one of the smallest states but with the most population. Thank you for directing blames where it should be. Lagos has at least Ten General Hospitals and many Primary Health Care Facilities.

All of them travelled abroad bar Abacha and it was because of the Sanctions places on Nigeria then.

From IBB, Abdul-Salam, OBJ, GEJ, Yar'dua and many of them. They all travelled out to see to their health simply because it is the State that pick the Bills.

Nigeria government hospitals are the worst.. Lost a very close family member in Lagos Island government hospital just because of their nonchalant attitude to work. When we took her there nah student doctors con dey attend to her like they were using her to do school projects and meanwhile she needed surgery.. Till she passed on she was never attended to by a senior doctor. How I wish one can sue them. Those hospitals are death traps.
