I was being sarcastic! lol!
Another money making avenue. Of course, it is true!
Nigeria always find ways to nominate ineffective people in position of power. Ridiculous move!
AndSunGorilla:

Is it true that when the NPFL players are invited to the SE, in the scenario where match bonuses are paid, the NPFL players don't get the full bonus?

Ahmed Musa is the captain and still playing professional football. Maguire was called up despite Smalling and Tomori's performance this season! Ahmed Musa changed the game immediately he came on for Simon in our last AFCONQ. He gave two assists and one pre assist. Base your judgement on his qualities not his name. Most of you here are ethic bigots. Musa will continue to be invited as long as he is playing professional football. If you can't live with that that's your probs!
this is rubbish, zaidu sanusi is a northerner and hausa by tribe, no one's saying he should be dropped because he plays well and also plays for a decent team (Porto).. but because others are clamoring for Musa retirement you are foaming from your mouth...

Why should Musa retire when he was the best player in our last important competition?

I just don't know why people like mediocrity. Musa doesn't even have enough game time in his club,. And someone is calling people bigots because he was asked to be dropped.

The only luck we will have qualifying for the next World Cup is because of the proposed additional number of teams to rep Africa in 2026

If not if super eagles qualify for the mundial via the normal qualifying format with this hand mk I bend

Another disgrace loading at the afcon next year 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If they qualify ooo

Which team drops his captain still playing competitively? How many of those invited consistently play 90 minutes. Only a bigot coach would drop a captain who had a fantastic performance in his last competitive game. Why should I drop my captain that did well for my team cos another coach does not find him good enough. Are you listening to yourself? Aribo, Osayi, Onyeka, etc should be dropped too, then!

According to Naijafootballers, a senior member of the NFF told ESPN that Peserio has been instructed not to call up more than 20 foreign based players from now on... Any future super eagles list won't have more than 20 foreign based...the remaining slot will be reserved for local players...

Aribo, onuachu, musa hv no business in the super eagles currently until they start seeing more playing time

Would hv added Onyeka but he’s display in brentford’s last 2 games after his injury return was very good

I believe you can express your objection without without whipping tribal sentiments. Many people have legit reasons for not wanting Musa in the team. Like someone rightly pointed, Zaidu is a northerner and most have no issues with him. If an injury free Sadiq Umar was included too most won't have issues.

Musa however has played an average of 2 mins per game this season. The objections to his inclusion isn't because he's a northerner. Musa has served his country and has done tremendously for Nigeria, and in my opinion needs to how out honourably. He needs to do so to allow room for many others waiting for an opportunity to represent their country. Musa got his opportunity when he was 18 years old. I remember he was the highest goal scorer in the NPFL and many clamoured for his inclusion. If we held on to non performing players then he probably wouldn't have had that opportunity. He should do the honourable thing and resign.

I agree also that Aribo and Onyeka shouldn't have been in the list.
