Why? Did they meet in a 2 leg knock out game this season?

This will be Zlatan's last chance at UCL glory. They will be throwing the kitchen sink and then some at Napoli.

I was responding to the claim that Porto is better than Arsenal because they got a draw and won over penalties.

In essence l am saying ,it's not so simplistic.
you see how unrealistic it sounds?? That is how it sounds when you compare other leagues with the championship with screenshot of friendly matches.

I’m not denigrating his accomplishments I’m just informing you guys that we cannot drop our established players at big leagues for those guys scoring at lower leagues because scoring at lower leagues doesn’t equate to Quality
Not when the player in question is not getting game time. Or even not making the team list. Make we stop shifting goal posts. An inactive player looses his sharpness

since 5-6 years,we have not been actively scouting local players the way we used to do before the advent of broilers, which have created vacuum that must be filled with broilers, even though they have proven to be less productive.

Football is a team sport. Put Halaand in Southampton and Onuachu in Mancity. How many goals have the other strikers in Southampton scored since Onuachu was signed? The same Belgian team disgraced Villarreal and Union Berlin. Are you saying those are back water leagues too? Onuachu still the highest goal scorer in that league shows his qualities no matter how hard you try to denigrate his achievements.
Boniface that turned Union Berlin defenders to Amateurs and won UEFA Europa player of the week plays in that league. He doesn't even have up to 10 league goals yet destroyed a 4th place team in the Bundesliga. Guy stop yapping bullcrap!!
Oga Marjori ,I remember Ajax defeated AC Milan thrice to win 1995 champions league.Does that mean Dutch league was better than Seria A at that time...,sometimes it happens in football seeing clubs from lesser leagues beating top teams from rated leagues.....and Haaland in man city is pure hardworking and it will take top striker to score those goals some referred as tap in....28 goals 5 assists in 25 games.

Egbon, does that mean the highest goal scorer for Ajax then is not good enough? Does that means Kluvert, Overmas, Kanu, Rijkaard, Seedorf, Finidi, Van der sar and others I could not remember are not good players cos they play in the Dutch league, then?

He can't play for us. He got Dutch citizenship through asylum and he has to forfeit it if he want to play for us.
He tried to play for us few years ago when he was in Germany but the dutch asylum policy restrained him

Yes Ajax was a surprised team that season and they followed it up the following season lost to Juventus in the final.Sincerely they have exciting players that are good enough for any top rated teams but fact remains the Dutch was far behind Seria A by all standard during this period.

The broilers aren't the reason we aren't actively scouting players in the local league. Corruption and incompetency is the reason.. Even during tournaments like CHAN, the best players from the league aren't always selected.. Just take a look at Salisu's list for the u-23 AFCON qualifiers... The broilers are seen as a shortcut to achieving a long term goal by our football administrators

I love this. We need to give our leaders and administrators equal madness or more to tame them. The level of corruption in this country now has never been this massive before. Corruption has overtaken every facet of our society.
