Probably because he has spent everything he has on house rent, school fees, transportation and given the rest to mom for housekeeping, until the next salary cycle.
Some of you will not understand the dynamics of being a father, especially the salary earners, in the typical African society.
I respected my dad more, when I started fending for my self mom and siblings, I wish he was here with me, I miss him. To be a man no be child's play. Billing everywhere, men pretend to be strong even when they are most venerable.

Do not allowed those that left their matrimonial homes because they cannot endure and narrates bad history to their children stop you from giving your dad enough.

I love my mum so much but I will give my dad 70k for been head of house and mum 30k for been supportive.

pls help me enlight that small boy, tell him that, The money his mother spend on him, who give his mother? Your mother's that is always stay at home where did she get the money from to spend on you if not the money your father gave her for family upkeep. Children are always discredited their Father effort because they are always away hustling for the family. Too bad, wasted effort.
