Hello my ogas in the house. Amex just approved my application and I have Β£2000 credit card. Can I withdraw the credit into my bank account. If not, how do I use the credit card? Thanks for your response

Annual renewal. I didn't just automatically renew...gave them a call to update some info for the new year and then negotiated the price of over 800 they quoted me to just over 600. I still asked for more (as Olivia Twist πŸ˜€) but they were now asking if I had a better deal so they could match, I didn't (lowest quote I got was almost double Β£1400) so I took what was on the table.
I think having a history with them helped.

Which insurance company is this. I'm currently getting over Β£1,300 even after adding voluntary excess.

Nope .......... You use it for purchases, and pay the money back (minimum or all), when your statement is printed.......

If you want a card to withdraw money from, with a minimal fee and zero interest for a few months.........

MBNA dual offer single tier 2 offers you a cash withdrawal card ........

Some other credit card companies offers such cards too ........😁

Make I stop before I get accused of only discussing AMEX .......πŸ˜‚

If credit score is poor, you are in the territory of companies that would offer you a loan, with high Apr.....

But they might require you visit a hub or offer guarantor loans ........

Hi my people, my ex landlord dey carry me where I no know. We moved out of the house, rented a rug doctor, cleaned as much as we could, touched a few parts of the wall with paint as needed. Then agent sent check out pictures, he asked that some places be cleaned (we considered them clean and consistent with normal use, wear and tear). Then he says he will like to keep the whole Β£580!! I exchanged a couple of email saying that outrageous. He then said they usually pay 150-170" for a full professional cleaning and I asked how is that ever close to Β£580.

My question is how do I prevent this scam. I already said he should give me a break down of what he wants the money for, and we will send this and pictures to the deposit scheme.
What do I need to do please? He cannot scam an oo eko like me now

Please guys, I need urgent help for these questions.
My wife is an MSc Nursing student but she has gotten a job offer as a Health Care Assistant. The company has given her COS for visa application. She still wants to keep schooling, she will be graduating next year September. The company has no problems with her schooling and working. My questions are these:
1, We (my wife, myself and my daughter) have only lived in UK for 7 months, are we going to need proof of fund?
2. The proof of fund for the three of us is in my account, must I transfer it to my wife's account (the main applicant)?
3. Do we need need to pay IHS, since the job is in the health care sector?
4. Apart from COS, Job offer Letter, Marriage certificate, BRP, Birth certificate and Passport. Is there any other document that we may need?
5. After conversion from student to working visa, and she finally graduates next year and gets a job with NHS in the hospital, hope she can switch from NHS working visa and will they start afresh to count for us towards application for indefinite stay, since we must have spent about 18 months to 20 months already.

Any other using information for switching from student visa to health care working visa will be appreciated. Please, guys we need help to these questions.

I believe that COS covers statement of account issues while filing for work visa, I do not believe you need to show evidence of fundz.
Those who knows the situation better will answer your questions bro.

These insurance companies are funny ooo. Admiral gave me a higher quote for renewal despite having no claims for a year , I called and said that I wanted to leave, the agent reduced my premium by £250. I still left tho cos I got a better offer with marshmallow 😁

The reason they do this is, most people generally assume that renewal premiums are cheaper and don't usually check figures........

Direct debit is done....... Too late to cancel.......😜

It's not your money, so no.

You're being lent the funds to spend responsibly and you have to pay back whatever you use, with interest, by the set payment dates.

You should read up on credit cards because it can land you in a lot of trouble and debt if mismanaged

Was there a clause in your tenancy agreement for the property to be professionally cleaned at the end of your tenancy?

Simply present your case + evidence, to the deposit scheme.........

This law was enacted due to the greedy nature of LL and to protect tenants.........

Was the deposit protected?

I find some of them are dodgy. We are 10months into our contract and as we informed our agency of our plans to leave, they started mentioning things that will make it possible for them to deduct some of our money. I remembered Lexus' post on them paying *3 of the deposit if they didn't deposit, so I stylishly reminded them that I haven't seen evidence that they protected the deposit as supposed to.

Can you imagine, an email came in today from DPS that steps have been taken by our LL to protect our deposit. Less than 2weeks to our exit. shocked

When I read up on the gov site, it says they must deposit within 30days of the tenancy so I don't even know the implication of this their late step.

Anyways, if yours is protected, I believe you can take it up with the deposit scheme and if they didn't, ask oga lexus to share that link to report and get X3 of your deposit.

Question2:
Please guys, I need urgent help for these questions.
My wife is an MSc Nursing student but she has gotten a job offer as a Health Care Assistant. The company has given her COS for visa application. She still wants to keep schooling, she will be graduating next year September. The company has no problems with her schooling and working. My questions are these:
1, We (my wife, myself and my daughter) have only lived in UK for 7 months, are we going to need proof of fund?

Yes.

But check the COS, possible the company might have ticked YES for maintenance.

2. The proof of fund for the three of us is in my account, must I transfer it to my wife's account (the main applicant)?

The primary applicant - your wife

3. Do we need need to pay IHS, since the job is in the health care sector?

No IHS - health and care visa

4. Apart from COS, Job offer Letter, Marriage certificate, BRP, Birth certificate and Passport. Is there any other document that we may need?

JOINT proof of address

5. After conversion from student to working visa, and she finally graduates next year and gets a job with NHS in the hospital, hope she can switch from NHS working visa and will they start afresh to count for us towards application for indefinite stay, since we must have spent about 18 months to 20 months already.

She can switch, the count continues

Any other using information for switching from student visa to health care working visa will be appreciated. Please, guys we need help to these questions.

Have you googled healthcare visa? All your questions have been answered on Gov.Uk https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children
1. Yes, except employer confirms in your COS that they will cover your family’s costs during your first month
2. Any of you can have it. It says β€œYou - or your partner or child - will need to have had the money available for at least 28 days in a row. Day 28 must be within 31 days of you or them applying for this visa.”
3. No, even your application fee is cheaper than standard skill visa
4. Again, read through the link. There is a section on Documents you'll need to apply. Also, read your partner and children section for the documents you will need for them.
5. She can switch, but she should read her contracts. I don’t know if NHS asks for refund if you didn’t stay with them for too long like some other companies do.
It won’t reset as long as she remains the main applicant.

Summary is answer to first question can be easily gotten on gov.uk and fifth question was recently discussed. Do some research 😊.
