My own is I have like 5 more pending admission and funding decisions while i also have one admission with funding and i have gotten an early date in April. My question is should I change my interview date and wait for those schools or I should go ahead with my interview with the school i have at hand.

But while trying to schedule appointment with dhl the system says that my passport number doesn’t match their records, that I should make sure my DOB is correct. But everything is correct

I thought OPT is after studies or towards the end of studies, not at the start of studies?
Or one can choose when to commence OPT, be it start, middle or end?

Since you are none STEM you should have one of the plans below;

Look for OPT accompanies that will file H1B for you,
or
Get any company that accepts you and stay there and look for another that will give you H1B

or

Go for PhD straight or another maters that is STEM eg health informatics

or go for PhD or another study after your 1 year OPT

Then while in PhD consider NIW

NOTE
you can not do OPT again if you go back for the same level of study after the first one so think am well well

Go to the designated DHL office (one on your appointment letter) to pick up your passport with visa.

The online appointment thingy is a formality.

OPT comes after you have concluded your studies.
20hr/40hr work week applies when you’re a currently enrolled full time student.

It might not be possible in the UK. But I think my apartment pay more than $300 per month for electricity bill. Especially during winter

There's pre completion OPT (PhD students can basically do a pre completion OPT in their second year of study) and there is Post completion OPT (after study) which is 40hrs/week. While doing pre completion OPT, be careful not to do full-time as you won't be able to use the 2yrs extension of Post completion OPT for stem students
