I was told your length of study will determine if you will book a one way ticket or return. Pls how true is this?

From my calculations, it seems I will be booking like one week ahead of my travel date due to timeframe, and this will make my ticket very expensive. Which among the airlines is the cheapest, I don't mind the layover time

Yes, it's 27th of march. Thanks for your response.

My next question is for medical, I read they do eye test, pls can you tell me about it. I have a little issue on my left eye, I can't see clearly tiny writings from a far. For bold writing I can see very well. Also my right eye is perfectly ok. So I'm using glasses as prescribed by optician to avoidd further damage.

Is glasses allowed for the test? And pls how exactly is the test being carried out.

My next question loading, lol
It’s the nurse u meet that Carrie’s out the eye examination, nd it’s no biggie they will ask u to read nd when u read they do their recording. U don’t have anything to worry about, u not gonna fail for using glasses ok or for having ish with ur eyes. She will ask u if u use glasses then answer yes that’s all

But he/she is correct. You will write your email and phone number on the two photocopies of your passport.
The information she is giving is for passport submission not for biometrics. We have tried to correct but she or he keeps repeating. It’s misleading that’s why

Wrong info ? Lmao have you gotten visa ? because I have and what I did on my biometrics day was, I printed appointment letter, biometrics letter (colored), Int’l passport photocopies in (black and white) and my payment receipt (altho it wasn’t required). I wrote my phone number and email address on each of the passport photocopies alone just like everybody else cos in fact you don’t know about this until you get to the center and one of the officers gives you directive regards that.

So what wrong info did I give Mr man or woman ?
Ur info is for passport submission not for biometrics that’s what I mean. No offense meant

I don’t think that’s true. Your study has nothing to do with return ticket, return ticket will only prove ur returning back home, nd no one books flight before submitting visa application. So pls go ahead book ur one way nd disregard every distractions

Hello, Gurus in the House please I need a Guidance as to the documents to be submitted for Possible visa Approval as a self-sponsored. I got Offer for Admission to study MBA at Uni. Sorry for d refusal. We will need more details to assist
Bt when did u apply and did u do medicals?

I applied November 04, 2022, did my biometrics November 14, 2022. I was actually waiting to be sent medicals request because I didn't want to go for upfront medicals at the initial time. Funny enough, I decided to book for upfront medicals 4 days ago since I was running out of time and yesterday, my application was refused.

Hello, I'm looking for cheap tution fee schools in Canada to apply for PhD in Epidemiology, I have made researches on line but I want you guys here that are more informed to help me out with cheap tution fee schools, also the ones that are fully or partially funded, thanks.

Please I need your advice on this.

My sponsor is my elder sister she's a permanent resident in Canada, how much does she need to have to show as proof of funds, my tuition fee for 1 year is around 15,000CAD, it's a 2 year course, I currently have about 5m in my account.
I am single no kids and I will be going alone, so how much is needed for an individual for at least a year.

Is it required that she gifts me or should the money remain in her account.
I have an option to pay part of my of my first year tuition fee around 7000CAD which would be done by my sister,
At least how much should I have in my account.
Thanks as I await your response

- The 5M you have in your account is okay. Just show the proof of the source of funds.

- She doesn’t need to gift you any money especially since she’s already in Canada. You said she’ll be paying about CAD$7k for your part tuition, that’s a positive sign to show her commitment, if she could pay full 1year tuition that’s even better than gifting you any money.

- she can have as much as she can show proof of source of funds. However, values above CAD$ 50k are recommended.

Your expenses for a year is roughly: 15k(tuition)+ 1,500( Health insurance)+ 10k living expenses/accommodation + 4k round trip flight+ 5k miscellaneous (meal plans, books& stationary, settling allowances including winter jackets)..
TOTAL: about 36k per annum. *2 (roughly 70k)

so let’s say you have 5M, which is about $CAD15k, then she pays 7k part tuition. That’s 22k off.
She’ll need to show like 60-70k. Most importantly show she’s actively working and she’s seeing money.

All the best

Most PhD, (IF NOT ALL) are fully funded.

There are however no cheap ones. You could say “fairly expensive”.
...
the deal is getting a supervisor. I’m sure you know about that requirement.

All the best

sorry for that. But at this point of refusal, it only takes courage to reapply by yourself again. I suggest you involve a licensed consultant for Canada Immigration, I didn't say agent ooo.

So they have to appeal the refusal, and handle the process for you for a better result on a second try . Why I say this is because applying after refusal by your self again might lead to you repeating the same mistake. I know how frustrating a first refusal might be not to think of a second one. Please don't claim to be acada on this traveling issue all we want is to see ourselves in canada it doesn't matter if you did it yourself or you applied through a firm. Las Las all man go dey alright, note: don't feel reluctant not to know the processes, ways and step by step during your application and before approval. There's knowledge in all these. I wish you PPR on your next try, just repackage to refire so as to retire in canada. All the best.

Really? So, how do I contact one please? Again, you have an idea of how much it will cost?

Hello house,

Pls kindly advise

I am going for a year course PGD related to my job experience.
1. 1st semester will be paid myself ( salary + little helps from friends n family)
The question is will tuition deposit receipt suffice or I need to explain the source of the money. I plan paying before applying for visa.

2. 2nd semester will be paid by my sister.
Document to submit, letter of support from her, proof of relationship n her bank statement. she is paying the money into my account. Are these documents okay?

3. The living expenses will be paid by my mum. She is leasing an asset for 3 years n the money will be paid into my account by the client. Documents to submit, lease of agreement, letter of support from my mum and proof of relationship. Are these docs enough or I need more?

4. For Hometie, I plan to use the house I currently live in with my mum. It is a 4 bedroom house and it's owned by my mum. I need advice on what documents to submit for this. She has C/O of the house.
In addition to the house I will use my family( siblings & mum), letter of absence with no pay from the office. Hope this is fine?
PS; I have a sister in Canada ( the one paying the 2nd semester). Hope that won't affect my application?
I am first applicant.

Thank you.

My info is clearly for biometrics. Let us try to read and comprehend cos I noticed people are quick to instigate fued. The lady simply asked if going with a black and white photocopy won’t be an issue and I stated that it is not because that Is what I did and also asked about what the phone contact and email meant which I explained she’ll do that on her photocopies, and went ahead to say make sure you take the rest of necessary document. But instead you were quick to annotate that I am giving out wrong info confusing people as MR know it all that you are or what? Common now
Now u trying to insult me indirectly nd I never insulted u. I did my biometrics 13th dis month alongside over 50 people, I never wrote anything behind anything, no one did, nd no one asked me or anyone to do so. I’m sure u did urs long before mine so mine is more recent nd I’ll have more accurate info than u. Pls don’t try to insult me next time. Respect urself and again ur info was partly wrong and I’m 100% sure of it

I've already gotten medical request from IRCC which i believe I have 90% of getting the visa, though I'm not booking a flight now. I just want to be cleared.

Like I've read previous posts where people booked returned ticket, I can't figure the exact page again

I will post my timeline soon is what u have been saying for over a week now, u claim to get a PPR that is taking u weeks to show its timeline/proof after someone challenged u to it. Not that u owe it to me nor do I care about ur PPR. But u are in no position to claim to have a correct info because u have no integrity!

I did my biometrics ending of last month. I did 2 photocopies of my international passport and wrote my phone number & email on it. Everyone on that day did same

At first I never wanted to do it because the business center outside were charging a lot. I did mine inside the VFS building. Mine was black and white
