Good morning people..

Pls I need an assistance on what to do right now.
I was refused visa on the ground of the following according to VO;

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay. I am refusing ur application because you have not established that you will leave Canada , based on the following factors;

1. Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family members), if applicable)

2. I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intent to pursue.

3. I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available resources , without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period.

I am going for Masters of Management in University of Windsor, and my tuition fee is 43,000cad in total. I showed N8,351,000 in my uncle'S bank statement, N6,000,000 in my cousin's bank statement and N3,000,000 in my bank statement because they are my sponsors though I am married. Meanwhile, I have already paid 4,000cad for tuition deposit.

So, now my family members are contributing money for my studies which according to my sister, they planned giving me N10,000,000 and my that my uncle that was my sponsor want to transfer the N8,315,000 to my account while he will do a gift deed to that effect. So now concerning my family's contribution, how best am I supposed to show the funds, should they deposit it individually into my account or is it better one of them gather it in his/her account and send it my own account?

Hi, i am also interested in the same course at the same uni. My question is; isnt the couse fees 33k rather than the 43k yoi have quoted. I am of the opinion that the 10k in excess is the coat of living. Please correct me if i am wrong. I better make an informed decision as 43k is way above my budget for tuition.
Another question is if admissions are cloaed because i havent even began the application process.
Question number 3; is if my children accompany me (3 kids of primary school age) will they study free of cost in public schools or do children of international students have to pay fees albeit local fees. And if so will i have to show POF for their studies in the public schools?
Last but not least; i considered this particular uni because of the direct route to OINP PR possibility what with ON having 18k slots for PNP in the coming years, which brings me to my question, is there anyone who has used this route before and been successful in securing PR prior to pwgp and without a valid job offer (we cant predict employment opportunities) but we cant also invest so heavily without ‘assurance” or at the very least experience.

The school is quite expensive. What's written on my offer letter is a total of 43kCad which I never knew would be like that.

If u can, look for another school because it has not been easy for me getting the funds as I didn't plan such but if u have enough funds

Has anyone had luck booking medicals through Q-Life? Their booking site is a mess. Got a date in IOM but too far out for me?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Codeprenuer(m): 3:21am On Mar 26, 2023
Here are my questions and I will appreciate your comments.

1. For POF, Can I use a domiciliary account along with a Naira account? Like using dollar account to proof the funds in Naira account. All funds are currently in domiciliary account with solid evidence as it’s a salary account. But I want to take advantage of the black market rate and convert USD to naira, so POF in naira can be calculated with CBN rate of CAD/NG 340.
Can I use my dollar account to explain the source of funds in my Naira account? I have pay slips and bank statements of the dollar account up to 3 years!

2. I’m studying a 2-years course, tuition is $18k, must my POF cover for the entire duration or just the first year + living expenses will suffice? Please Give comments based on your experience or someone you know.

3. I’ve processed the first semester tuition using CBN form A, and this may take up to 2 months.. I plan to apply for study permit/visa afterwards.. Do you think the gap between admission offer and study permit application is not too wide?

Looking forward to comments to clear my doubts.
Thanks guys.

Firstly, what did u study in the University or Polytechnic and what have you been doing since u graduated because these contributes to ur choice of program.

My brother wants to give me one of his landed properties, particularly the one he has in one estate, to use as home tie.
Apart from the original documents of the land, which other documents do I need to get from him?
Who prepare gift deed and where is it prepared?

Welsh2np:

Thank you for the information

- The 5M you have in your account is okay. Just show the proof of the source of funds.

- She doesn’t need to gift you any money especially since she’s already in Canada. You said she’ll be paying about CAD$7k for your part tuition, that’s a positive sign to show her commitment, if she could pay full 1year tuition that’s even better than gifting you any money.

- she can have as much as she can show proof of source of funds. However, values above CAD$ 50k are recommended.

Your expenses for a year is roughly: 15k(tuition)+ 1,500( Health insurance)+ 10k living expenses/accommodation + 4k round trip flight+ 5k miscellaneous (meal plans, books& stationary, settling allowances including winter jackets)..
TOTAL: about 36k per annum. *2 (roughly 70k)

so let’s say you have 5M, which is about $CAD15k, then she pays 7k part tuition. That’s 22k off.
She’ll need to show like 60-70k. Most importantly show she’s actively working and she’s seeing money.

All the best

Congratulations and many more, Im happy for you. Please, I just had my first trial refused yesterday, and I intend to defer my admission and reaply. Please, kindly link me to this Sopwriter so he can assist and guide me in my next application. Please!!!

Agho, sorry about the refusal, I do not think your major issue is SOP, with the kind of business your sponsor does there will be many lump sum deposits, I am not also clear if he is using his personal or business account for the sponsorship. The likely issues might be
1. You did not explain your relationship with him with documents.
2. He might have had many lump sum deposits in his personal/biz account.
3. Your own account also might have had lump sum deposits
4. There might have been a low beginning balance but high balances on the accounts.

So, check all theses to know how you stand. Then apply and receive your GCMS notes before reapplying.
