Osimhen was free just before Chukwueze entered the box and that was the time he had to square the pass. As soon as Chukwueze entered the box and cut to the left, passing to Osimhen may have been intercepted.

There was ample time to get the ball to Osimhen but Chukwueze went for goal. This is something Peseiro needs to polish. Utilize gaps in the box. Chukwueze clearly didn't.

I won't have a different option. I am used to plays with patterns and I believe in its efficacy. As soon as we are not moving in patterns, it is not effective. If we like bury 10 goals, I don't see development.

I have been on this since Rohr. A system of play.
It was clear we set up attack from the wings. There was a clear pattern of play.

Moses and Zaidu on the right. Chukwueze and Osayi on the left. The setup was responsible for almost all our chances. Watch the replay.

However, football is not chess. Football is dynamic and you must seize on any interception in your opponents half. however, the buildups from our half was delivered to the wings. That was clear enough.

In the end, football is progressing. You can't expect to play disarray football and expect to lift the cup. Football is getting way beyond that. You think the growth of Morocco came by playing nonsense and winning 1-0?
Leave our master tactician JP for us… we won, we top the group. We move. Make una rest.

What has Morocco won in two decades? Before it was Ghana now na Morocco cos they struggled to beat one under par Brazil at their home. AFCON is next year. We will all be here!

Lmfao, guy are you still on this matter? Move on nah. I've already made my point and moved on. You should do the same.

You do know you don't have to agree with anything I say, right? 😄🤷🏽‍♂️

Honestly speaking, I'm even tired of writing about it.

If the person you quoted was referring to me, then I'm sure he wouldn't have or at least he should not have any issues quoting me directly.

Almost five years since Victor Moses left and we're yet to find a credible replacement. Moses Simon, Chukwueze, Dennis, Onyekuru; none of those guys has managed to fill his boots.

Hindsight is 2020 but that keshi 2013 team is very underrated in my opinion. That team had a prime Enyeama, Moses, emenike and Mikel 4 of which will absolutely walk into our present 11. To think that, SE didn’t appreciate them until they left is infuriating. We haven’t replaced Enyeama, Mikel and victor Moses. Even 2013 Emenike has performed better than all SE present Strikers

Look at the pure ridiculousness that comes out of our mouths when things don't go our way. Kudus that was one of the best players at the world cup is now a club merchant? And u sef, u get mind to cosign such nonsense. Osimhen with 5 goals in the AFCON Qualifiers, a club merchant because God didn't send him to die for our sins and surprise surprise he is not perfect. U can put Prime Messi on the Super Eagles and he will still have bad games once in a while.

Don't even go there

Which one be Messi?

Oga 3 bad crucial games in a row is not a fluke

He disappeared in both legs against Ghana and did same against GB

Oga, you dey cap

Oya, go and carry the CAF award and give him na

In the history of CAF award, your performance for your national team is paramount

Don't be surprised osimhen doesn't make top 3

Na sentiments dey worry una

Lol, now this conversation is over-stretching and I'm feeling sleepy already but I'll say this:

If you say Osimhen has every right as a result of his past performances despite his current poor form over the past two matches or so, to criticize his teammates, then Moses Simon AS THE CAPTAIN of the team also has EVERY right to criticize Osimhen for missing chance after chance after chance. It's only logical. Moses Simon even has more say than him in the team.

Concerning your 2nd to last paragraph, it is not a narrative, it's a fact that is glaring for all to see. As a matter of fact, he's becoming quite notorious for it 😄.

People may dismiss it and love to term it as a trait of a passionate player but I'm calling it out for it's disruptive tendencies, especially when you look at it from the standpoint of a teammate and how it could affect the team negatively.

But like the popular saying: To each his own 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

Goodnight 👌

Your head dey there

That "prince of Naples" tag don dey enter him head

I maintain, osimhen's form in the SE is poor when he is playing a proper team. Except is Sao taome and principe grin grin grin grin

IMO , I think we should try Gift Orban in the wings, especially Chuks position

I feel that the reason Chuks has refused to improve is because he doesn't have competition

Or better still, move Osayi further front and let someone else take that RB position

The SE are a group of individuals players some with big Ego's seeking personal glory.

Compare the SE to Morocco, for me Morocco is not just a team but a close knit family with every one working to help each other, No EGOS.

We lack cohesion and there are some players that just don't do the basics. Imagine wingers and full backs that cannot cross the ball 🤔.

We got a result via penalty to save our blushes, but it's simply not good enough.

I don't think Peseiro is up for the job, he is out of his depth, l can see a lot of pain and disappointment if he is allowed to continue.

I'll have to agree with komekn on this

I noticed those our foreign Borns raised in England have a proper understanding of the basics of the game - space, positioning, decision-making, how to cross the ball, when to pas and when to run

Is it a surprise that Aribo and Osayi-Samuel
with Iwobi played better?

Why? Because they are properly tutored in these basics right from the academy and not just touch-and-go street football

We need Ebere Eze on that team. Also, what's even the case with Michael Olise?

And it's not just one bad game, it's a perennial problem with him unless you're just watching ball

Who told you Messi hasn't shouted before? And so because Modric hardly talks, that is the leadership style that must be followed?

Leadership is done in different ways and not in the way that you want to box it into.

And bringing up Simon is funny. Same guy who frustrates even you and many fans in several games? He even missed one of the best 2 chances in Abuja. Why does he get to talk? 😂😂😂😂

The point remains that Osimhen has literally been the saviour of this team times without number and always gives his best. Always. So he has every right to demand more of his teammates. Simple.

And stop painting the false narrative that Osimhen does this "shouting" everytime. It is misleading.

And making mistakes like the 2 big chances he missed today which I literally already referenced doesn't make him any less of a leader and the biggest gun we have today in the Super Eagles.

Na only chukwueze I Dey see osimhen Dey complain for mostly

He do even clap most times if our guys pass nonsense pass grin

Chukwueze is not even selfish. Even Osimhen missed a one-on-one set up solely by Chukwueze in the second half. 80% of left-footed wingers today will attempt that chance rather than lay a pass. My issue with him is that his conversion rate is too poor for the amount of chances he creates, the run was good, the footwork as well, but the finish poor AF. In that case he should just pass.

Taking that chance is usually what a winger would likely do, however if he hasn't improved on burying chances, he should not remind us of how poor his finishing can be.

Chukwueze is selfish

Thank you ooo Andy. And Chukwueze is Osimhen's closest paddy in the team yet he spares him no scolding.

And yes, thank you for pointing this out. Osimhen does clap and gives a thumbs up most times even when his teammates play nonsense passes or misplace some efforts to find him. He applauds because he understands and sees their efforts to connect but now he talks to Zaidu and everyone complains?? Same Zaidu wey folks in here dey call for him head? Lol

Statistically, Zaidu was one of our better players on the day from a general POV but his crossing and the timing of his crosses left much to be desired. They were horrible.
