Good morning everyone.

After my first refusal, my family raised funds and I invested it (N10,000,000) to avoid depreciation in value and I have a cash gift from my uncle of 7.5m and I have 3m in my own personal account. Do I need to explain the source of the funds for the investment to the VO and am I expected to show any evidence for the contribution for the investment amount. For the gift of 7.5m from my uncle, can he send the money to me at once and after sending the money, how long should I wait before reapplying?

In Conestoga admission letter received, I'm to to pay a non refundable acceptance deposit of $1,500.
An estimated tuition fees for the first semester of the propram (4) months of study is $10,129.
1. Is the $1,500 non refundable acceptance deposit part of first semester tuition fees? That's $10,129-$1,500=$8,629 balance.
2. If the first semester tuition fees of $10,129 is paid, how much minimum will I need in my account as POF?

From what you have here
1. $1500 is part of your tuition, so you have a balance of $8629.
2. You should also think of the second semester fees (Unless your course is just for 1 semester, which I doubt)
So 2nd semester fees+ 1st semester balance+ 10k living expenses+ miscellaneous of 2k
All in Canadian dollars.

Note that you will have to muiltply the above amount by the number of years your course of study will last. This maybe easier if you have a sponsor who has an active income.

NLanders, please I need assistance with information regarding accommodation in Toronto. Does anyone have a cheap accommodation in Downtown Toronto. I have been looking for accommodation for the past 2 months but no tangible response. My flight is arriving second week in April but program starts May 1, 2023.

Any good link will be appreciated.

Thank you all!

Please I just got an offer at Humber college, and was asked to pay before May17th but there's no link to pay. Does anyone have Humber admission? how did you do your payment please. They didn't even state exact amount for first semester for me to pay as they stipulated.
Someone should help me out please.
Secondly, which bank can be faster with form A to meet up with this deadline? also can I ask for extension of fee deadline? Someone with experience should suggest for me. Thanks.

My sponsor is my senior brother working with one of the federal government agency with a monthly salary of 340k. He has sent the acceptance fees to me already. He's planning to pay the balance of the first semester tuition fees.
He doesn't really have enough cash in his account now. He wants to get a loan for me and he wanted to know how much he should put in my account as POF after paying the first semester tuition fees.

@Bobmaigida,justwise, kindly educate more on this. Submitted First bank MBS for duration of (dec 1 to April 20) here I have 80% of the POF and 1 year MBS of GTB reaon being that there was changed in salary account due to job transitions. My concern is this, first bank is actually dec -march (4months) but in days it's not a complete 4 months. Anything to be worried about as I hv submitted the application?

Like Bamz555 said, it is fine, just ensure the account does not have lump sum deposits.

All the best.

Ideally, all sources of funds should be explained to eliminate the classification of the funds as demonstration funds, how long have you invested the funds, and what kind of investment is it?

The earlier the funds are sent to you the better, since it is a gift let your uncle do a gift deed for the money.

I think you should escalate to the school on the issues you are facing, it could be a technical issue or the fact that they have not updated your profile for the payment.

As for FORM A, any one who knows any fast bank might respond to you.

Hello guys, I have received a medical request but I have with me an upfront medical.
What should I do?
I have sent the upfront medical which I did before I received the medical request.
Does it mean that I have to go make a new medical?

Please any useful information would be appreciated.

Kind regards.

No need for new medicals, send your upfront medical sheet via email and webform, did you use IOM or Qlife?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Zeed13: 11:51am On Mar 30, 2023
Write the admission body and explain to them.
Attach the new transcripts telling them a page is missing which u just realised. And that you apologise for this.

copy international office, admission and dean of your school.
Best of luck,

No, they didnt request. Just upload the form the clinic gives to you when you do the upfront medicals. Once you upload that, IRCC is aware you've done medicals. The Clinic will send ur medical report to IRCC.... also before this, there is a questionnaire on the site before you upload ur documents. The questionnaire asks if you have done upfront medicals, just pick Yes

They didnt updated it until the date my application was approved.

Sure. For study permit/Temporary residence visa
1. Fill IMM 1294 form - Application for study permit outside Canada
2. Letter of Acceptance from your school (Offer of admission)
3. Passport data page
4. Proof of funds for tuition and Living expense
5. Digital passport photo
6. Fill IMM 5645 form - Family information
7. Proof of upfront medicals
8. Fill IMM 5257 form - Application for TRV outside Canada.
9. Client information (Letter of Explanation).

For Letter of Explanation, i gave reasons for study decision, explained adequate proof of fund and showed ties to return to home country.
Uploaded LOI from my office, proof of funds letter from bank, receipt of paid tuition deposit, Proof of ties to Home country - Marriage cert, kids birth cert, family photo, photo and document of landed properties, employment letter from office, payslip for 4 months, travel history and visa stamps on ur passport (if any), first degree certificate, NYSC certificate, Police character certificate (not sure if this was important but added it anyways).

No. Online.

Okay, did you just fill out the forms in addition to the online application or you were prompted by the system to download, complete the forms manually and upload them as part of your online application?

I also didn't apply from Nigeria perhaps the difference in the process (mine was a proper web page and not a set of downloadable form)

Sorry for the long question, just making sure I did the right thing.

Okay, maybe the difference in mine is that I applied from Nigeria. But it's 3 forms, application for study permit for applicant outside canada, family information and application for Temp residency. Downloaded them during my application from the site. Filled with PDF and uploaded them. I already had an existing profile on IRCC site so just added my study permit application and had to fill these forms+ other documents I listed.
