bullstriker:thanks @bullstriker even our son who is 6 has a column where he was asked to submit his Letter of acceptance. Maybe I need to go back to the questionnaire to fill visitors visa of all type for us instead of the; open work permit for me and study visa for our 6 year old son. What's the way to go? |

buchito1:Thanks for this. I often come across comments online stating that there aren't many job opportunities or professional jobs in Canada, which is surprising to me. I guess this highlights two important things: 1. It is crucial to choose a program of study that is in high demand in the Canadian job market to increase your chances of finding employment after the program. 2. If one currently has a stable job in a developed country, it may not be wise to resign and move to Canada without proper planning and research. |

Wsx2:That is why it’s advisable that atleast before you leave for Canada, figure out two things: 1. Pay Atleast full first semester tuition fees 2. Have at least CAD $3000 after paying for your flight: this amount should cover like 2Months rent and help you settle, depending on your province, you may need higher. Some of us have coconut head, we’ll still not hear. After doing all the demonstrations POF and every other thing and getting approval, Na still you go figure out how you go take survive. The streets of Canada are not tarred with money. The four letter word below is important ⬇️⬇️⬇️ PLAN!!! |

Which of the Notre-dame? Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil? I have never been to that village before tho. Or do you mean Notre-dame Basilica? and that one is in Montreal/Quebec? If yes, you should be able to use the city public transportation zeb04: |

I honestly don't think they ask this at the border tho (or maybe 1 in 100 sha). I have travelled several times and they never asked me that at POE. My last travel was as recent as 3 months ago (unless if things don change now) Cath1234: |

Wsx2:I have seen these complaints are coming majorly for toronto. It has been said over and over again that the city is highly competitive. In Short the bigger cities toronto and Vancouver are highly competitive and dont forget you donot have any canadian experience why not go to less competitive province. Now this is the part i cannot understand why will someone who is on a budget be looking for admission in such big cities. Will i say they failed to do thier research so inadvertently planned to fail. Please go to cities that are not so populated and have lower cost of living so that when unforseen circumstances arise you will be able to manage the situation. Canada is still my far better than Nigeria so don't be your own undoing OneLove |

Wsx2:uber eats with bicycle or electric bike is there they should go do that one. There are many fast food stores, grocery stores etc looking for staff. What kind of job did you think will be available to students in the first place. Many students came to Canada with borrowed funds and showing proof of funds. Now they are crying. You better endure and wait for better days. After all no one forced you to apply. |

Maria96:My dear oh. I was talking to someone recently. I advised him to have at least one semester fees and small cash to hold for settling down. He asked me: don’t people work and study anymore?... That question is best answered through personal experience. How can a full grown adult wake up from his house, zero or limited plans: leave his house, leave his village and even go as far as leaving his COUNTRY to someone else’s country. |

1. Yes, it doubles as a visa application. 2. Yes, they will request your daughter's passport. zeb04: |
