Good afternoon everyone, is there anyone that got visa recently without submitting his own personal account statement? A friend is looking to submit his sponsor bank statement alone because he has just 200k in his account?

Sponsor is the Father
there is a way to go about it. You can submit your bank statement and sponsor's bank statement

Can you arrive in April for September Intake?
Why do you want to go in April for a September start date?
If you can answer this now then you can convince them at POE too.
Besides what will you be doing?
Abi you know you can't work till you official start lecture/enroll.

Good morning house
A quick question, a friend submitted an application in February 23 and has not got any response yet
He is trying to ask if someone application has taken like 7-8 weeks, does IRCC still denied long submitted application or there is a little chance of approval if an application has taken longer weeks
He is yet to receive medical request though

Kindly help to respond
Thanks

Hello guys, pls what does it mean to be waitlisted by a college.

Secondly I applied for a 1 year apprenticeship program instead of a pgd in conestoga college . I hope this will not have any negative effect in my visa application and for pgwp.

I am a bsc holder

Waitlist means you neither have an offer nor have you been rejected. They'll place you on the waitlist pending if there is an available slot, maybe someone decides to defer or reject the admission then they'll replace that slot from those on waitlist. If no one rejects the admission or they get a stronger application, they will send those on waitlist a reject mail or ask them to apply for next session.

I booked my flight for April (September intake). I had to reschedule to June cos I still have almost 5 months and it’s not reasonable as I believe the CBSA officers will be expecting May intake at the moment

There are applications that has used over a year and they haven’t replied yet. Some people applications spent over 4 months before they they could get any response from IRCC. Meanwhile some people got their visa approval in less than a month. My application spent over 5 months before I got a reply from IRCC. Just keep praying and you can start sending webforms if it’s passed the 12 weeks stated in their website

Ohh I see. Thanks.
Did it cost you additional fee to reschedule to a later date with lufthansa?

Thanks for your response
Does that mean applications with longer time than expected do get approval or some still get denied too
