There was an indictment, there was a forfeiture, what innocent person forfeits $460k? I understand that your level of morality can tolerate and even justify a criminal kin, mine can not and it is that simple.

Elevating someone with a past blighted by opacity and criminal allegations to the presidency cheapens that seat..it gives every criminal a right to also occupy that seat, by the way with money and good lawyers every criminal can justify their crime...that's why Osama Bin Laden had to be killed rather than arrested.

There was a " protracted litigations " to get his money back , did you ever read that ? The judge gave a court order of forfeiture .of tinubu's heritage bank account that has the said $ 460,000 funds because Mueeiz Akande , a suspected drug kingpin has had dealings with Tinubu that warranted him ( tinubu ) to wire funds ( $100,000 ) to the Akande from that account , so any judge will order a forfeiture , but words are being twisted to make seems as if Tinubu acceded to paying almost half a million dollars to avoid a court case .And i ask you , why order a forfeiture of one account linked to an indicted drug lord when the courts has the power to seize multiple other account and jail him ?
Victim of circumstances is what tinubu was in knowing a fellow yoruba man suspected to be a drug lord . They never arrested or tried him in court because you need more than circumstantial evidence in the form of guilty by association to convict a man over there . That there was protracted litigations in challenging the forfeiture order sounds not to me as some one having something to hide . Eventually ,a African man paying legal fees in a prolonged litigation against U.S government had to re-evaluate his options .
