You guys came on board when Tojahh don use head clear bush. Drivers have regard and respect unlike before. Barely any driver that will tell you he have not experienced what I post. Before self one is shy to let people know he does e-hailing because the stigma that was attached to it. I don't do offline and my neighbours know I am the wrong person to call needless for trip. Book a ride and go your way, I've learnt not to bring familiarity to my source of livelihood.

You are in the period of riders begging you not to cancel trips and if you are coming. I doubt if you have ever slept for like 4 hours in search of trips. My brother those days weren't funny, sometimes you go back home feeling so dejected.

Make we just dey thank God.

Yes I get, that's why I said he should check on Gmap before moving. Don't trust the duration on the App.(check the screenshots I posted before)

This is why I like Rida. I can cancel trip immediately after starting trip and seeing the traffic. No charges. Nothing will happen. I will just tell you I'm not going again. If you insist or plead, we will renegotiate.
Try this on bolt, your DS score go dey drop till dem block you. Try on Indrive, they charge you

On Bolt that's not a problem. Cos u aren't the one paying for the traffic. I still did a trip today from marina to ketu 9k, Maryland to Opebi 2,400 etc. One of the many reasons I stick with Bolt even with the 25% commission. One can easily meet his target even during winter on Bolt, so truly I see no reason I will go n be fasting and praying to make trips on Indrive and Rida.
What u guys should do is find a way around the Driver Score thing and u will just be using Indrive as backup

I don't think there's a way around that DS than doing trips you normally don't want to do, just to keep up! I'm really not complaining except for cancellation, which happens on all apps and bolt is worse, cos ur DS will reduce even when they cancel.

I like to avoid traffic. That's why I start around 10am, when 3MB don reduce for traffic. I go to lekki, then back to mainland, then to lekki again and back to mainland......by then it will be around 3pm or so. All the rest trips will be around Yaba, UNILAG, shomolu, surulere, onike/iwaya, etc. Around 7/8pm, I don make 20k, with 5k fuel. It's ok for me. No DS, No cancellation fee, no commission. I also get to choose where I want to go. At times I don't make up to it, but I'm ok.

I understand you bro. Bolt is good, but I really don't like the commission and DS. I no dey get luck for their bonus. Acceptance or completion go always mess am up, which isn't my fault at times. Some riders will put an address and then drop on the way, without informing you.....completion rate go reduce.

Baba, I can go on and on, but make all man do the one wey favour am. With Rida, I don't pay any dime to anyone who doesn't even know how much I spend to fix my car! They just block people anyhow! U Sabi the hustle well, no doubt......U and cheerful, pope, yeye, tojah, eyinola, readadream and felicity. I no dey drag with anybody. Make I do the one wey I like. No case! I dey even try venture into other hustle make I leave this one. Bless up

I think by now we should be over this and everyone should do what works for them. No app is worthy of loyalty. Mariner to Ketu if not Ikosi, is two dead end zone. Who still goes to Mariner? I came out 5pm today and did 18k, not that I didn't see trip to make more, but I am so satisfied with that.

NB : once they finish Berger road and no traffic as it is now, I hope the surge will still be there.

That's perfect if u make this regularly guaranteed. Indrive is not just for me. Why are u guys now complaining of poor fares on Indrive if u are making 15k daily.
Me if Bolt blocks me and I want to focus on Indrive like this, I never make more than 20k gross and the reasons are not far fetched.

You are doing well.

Mariner is sweet, end your trip on the bridge and collect your money. Don't drop anybody on the main road, either enter other small streets on d left or chook head like u want to enter one of the car parks and drop passenger and move.
But me if it's afternoon, I enter car park either the one opposite UBA or Oando. Pay N500 for car park, set destination back to Berger or Akute. There's always Surge from afternoon, no how u will not get trip of 7k back to d mainland within 1hour. Inside car park u have peace of mind. And the trip u will carry will cover all your cost and time.
The problem with most of us is that we don't want to spend any money, we don't want to pay commission, we don't want to pay small car park money, so drivers prefer to be driving round, giving themselves HBD or hypertension and eventually still fall for lastma or taskforce and pay high fines.

But Pope this 18k from 5pm on a day like yesterday, hmmmm...na magic u do? The Indrive that I know before u make 4k u must cross thirdmainland bridge or U go Ojo/Alaba/Tradefair. If u r on island u must cross bridge again or u reach Sangotedo.
I think U where just lucky, it's not a normal thing.

This luck thing na true.

Started working 6pm yesterday and fortunately my second trip took me to Sangotedo from Alagomeji.

I just set destination back to Mainland and didn't get a trip till I got to Awolowo Way going to Surulere.
From lere I got another going to Kosofe, then back to my area at Onipan.

Na two prayers I dey anytime I wan hustle; make I no jam unfortunate people, and make I meet the target I set.

Just noticed that for the past 2 days, I have been getting a lot of out of radius trips, which I always decline.
Anything not 5 to 9 minutes for pickup na no-no.

grin you self see the stress at Mariner, but I think it will be light now since they have open the other road. I know places to park at Mariner, I will only pay 200, but riders are not always reasonable and gives one stress. Come to this place, I am here, I have load... oh! I left there, which Oando. I know they like long thing. Mariner have always been surge zone, anytime, any day. Wahala just plenty there.

As much as I'll say last night can as well been view from luck, but I was determined and it is just my normal style.
First trip was Ogba to Opebi link 1900. The whole place was blocked, told rider to cross to the other side, we use police station side to connect metal box. O ti lor
Second trip Bamishile to Oduduwa GRA 2k. Use the back to connect back to toyin street, enter MBA from custom. O ti lor
3rd trip from GRA to unilag 3k. Use ABC back to enter Yaba tech. O ti lor
4th trip from unilag to Musa Yaradua 4.2k plus 300 for extra stop. Normal normal
5th trip from A. Bello way to Akerele 3k. Stuck in traffic after the exit of Illubirin to ijora bridge. Rider was cool, chatty and fun as rider. Nice it up to 3500 for the drag.
6th trip from Lere to aromire iwo Ikosi 3400. I would have play with that trip. It was 10pm already and map was showing an hour. Need to go home and before I go give price, one driver come show me shege grin the worst trip of yesterday. End up spending 1 30mins. Yeye girl, bone up and even have to go thro back gate as main gate was on lock. Come and pay type and not even good night or thank you after trip. 1 star straight. grin

I finally got one of these korope move car, the man stays just around my neighborhood, indriver is the best ehailing app I must say.

Just the feature of the driver seeing where the rider is heading to makes it very special.and most of all... Allocating the trip request to every driver online makes it outstanding.

That last part is what makes Bolt a better option than Indrive.

On Bolt, you do the good and the bad trips. On Indrive, you may never get to do a good trip the whole day even if you accept offers at the exact price with the closest proximity.

I can take Bolt 800 naira trip at Ikeja knowing that my next trip could be 6k to the Island. This is never guaranteed on the other platforms.

Bolt does not have a direct competitor at this time. A direct competitor would be an app company that would operate exactly like Bolt while charging 10% commission or less.

Indrive also should remove the timing when driving to pick up a rider. It made sense when drivers choose their arrival time. Now that it's automatically sent to the rider by the app, there's no need still timing it.

How do you handle a rider eating in the car. Some unilag students entered my car and started eating Amala.

At first, I didn't complain even when I wasn't cool with it, not until I started touching soup on my glove box.

I had to change it for the guy eating at the front seat that it was improper to just enter my car and start eating Amala.

That's how they all flared up saying this is the first time a Bolt driver will talk to them like that. I had to shout them down too cause I can't be intimidated by crowd of three people.

The guy at the back tried to apologize for it but the lady beside him told him not to try it. That why would he apologize to me. Women!

Please, where una dey see these drivers that allow and tolerate all nonsenses?

One of the reasons I stopped e-hailing. It was just a part time thing I tried doing for some months. Na my car. I will park and order everyone out of my car even with their money. I no get time for nonsense.

Some Uber/Bolt drivers are actually very stupid and deserve to die in a car crash.

How can you be driving while you are tired and sleeping on the steering? Are you that greedy?

You cannot make all the money in the world while driving for Bolt/Uber. So why the risk?

I was hit by a driver yesterday night by around 2am while on my way home. I wasn't speeding, only for me to hear gbam! behind my car.

When I came down to check the damage, I couldn't even fight him, because his own car somersaulted and the damage was madt. It was a miracle he didn't die yesterday.

I was angry and felt pity for the slowpoke at the same time. The damage on my car was minimal so I decided to leave the driver alone.

If I wanted to be difficult, I would have insisted he paid for the damage yesterday, because it was clearly his fault.

To all drivers, don't allow your greed be the end of you.

But if you don't value your life, you can go ahead and take unnecessary and pointless risks, all in the name of meeting "target".

You still won't be rich. You will be running circles in poverty. So why the risk?

I hope someone learns from this.

Amala ke...I allow jollof rice or fried rice or snacks but anything with flowing oil like soup or rice and stew, I just politely tell them "sorry it's not allowed, u may stain the seat unknowingly or bad road can shake the car and pour ur soup".
Respect is reciprocal, if they don't respect you, end the trip and ask them to request another ride. There is a kind of surprise/shock riders get when a driver just ends their trip, sometimes they are speechless, it hits them in a different way.

I remember I once picked up a rider, immediately I started the trip she asked me to turn off my radio, I reduced it and she said I should turn it off, I just reversed and told her to request for another ride, how can I drive 1hr plus in silence. music helps to withstand traffic.

Sometimes we should be considerate. One lady once told me to put off the music completely and I asked why, and she said she wants to have her job meeting on zoom. I switched it off immediately. We should put ourselves in their shoes at times.

For the guy that wished drivers who overwork themselves dead, you went too far bro. There's always a better way of putting up your narrative.

For the eating in the car, I go with pearls. I usually allow them eat though but I would advise you not to stain my car. I recently carried an aged man and his wife from luth to Aguda. He was sick and he needed to eat and take his drugs. I allowed him eat his amala.....even though he stained the floor and seat, I had to clean it when they alighted and he blessed and thanked me.

In all, just be considerate. It doesn't mean you should go about taking sh1t!

Please guys I’m a bit mad. I ince complained of the exhaust of my Corrola hitting my car and making a metal to metal knocking sound when I’m on a bad road. I remember hearing that sound on my former Corrola then I used to think it’s the jack and tools in the boot but now I’m irritated by the sound in this my new Corrola.

My exhaust got divided into 2 some weeks ago and since then I’ve visited this panel beater to tighten my exhaust soo it stops hitting my car when I pass bad roads. I took it last week to mechanic thinking it’s not exhaust as another panel beater has viewed my exhaust and said it’s ok the mechanic said my shock is ok that it’s the exhaust. The panel beater went under the car and said done and again today after carrying 2 people in the back seat I hear the sound when I drive on a bad road.

Please is this normal as I’m not enjoying my driving experience on a bumpy road with people in back seat and hearing that metal to metal knocking sound

I dey even sharply enter car wash midday to make the car shine for riders.
