Let me quote you verbatim, "being benched by a Diop that is worst than Awaziem".

You made a comprehensiveness FALSE statement.

Your said expressly that Diop is is no where as good as Awaziem and implied that Tosin is not as good as Diop. Both assertions are totally false as you anchor ⚓ them on the fallacy that Tosin is being benched by Diop.
I saw similarities in Adarabioyo and Awaziem games. The two make it cool and to some coaches they are soft but coaches that have Guardiola or Arteta mentalities would love to have them in their squads….Diop to me put more energy into his games and based on that Fulham coach preferred him ahead of Tosin….well based on pedigree of where they are now Awaziem is odd amongst the trios……but Sir I remembered you don’t rate Adarabioyo some years back though was young then playing for man city.

My man,yes Peseiro doesn’t rate him according to OWNGOAL with no real source but I want to say as CB Adarabioyo is better than Akpogunma and Bassey.I will only give it to Omeruo based on his experience with eagles…How I wish we have options in ball playing defenders like Adarabioyo and Awaziem in our team cuz there would be real link from defense to midfield instead of gbas gbos of Ekong…just check out man city team,Ake,Akanji and Stones, these guys does it easily.

You nailed it especially on Adarabioyo and Awaziem being the kind of ball playing CBs we need in the Super Eagles.

And ofcos respects to Omeruo.

In order for the Super Eagles defence to look a lot steadier and more in sync with the midfield, we need defenders with a mix of rugged physicality, Decent 1v1 defending and ball playing technicality Or at least, one Ball Playing CB with good 1v1 defending to complement his partner's more aggressive Physicality.

A Ball playing CB or libero-kind CB to complement a CB-aggressor.

These are key tactical and technical elements to consider especially if our 1st to 2nd buildup phases must improve.

Well said. 🤝🏻🥂

diop was signed this season. tosin was already an established first team member. Did you expect diop to make the first team at once??

Bruv you are now in public domain contradicting yourself. You are also changing the goal 🥅 posts mid game.

You said Diop has benched Tosin, look when a player is comprehensively better than another player ,the benching is immediate.

It took Diop 9 games to get a start over Tosin is that a player that has been benched❓

You are absolutely correct 6 years ago I didn't rate Adarabioyo as well as Fikayo .

Adarabioyo was a Langley skinny player just tall with no physicality at the time, he was a teenager. Then he matured in body , ( come get muscle) it was the day I saw him bully Dominic Iorfa for a header on loan playing for Blackburn. Then I could see that ,"Small boy don turn man"

I watched Aina and Fikayo play for Hull against Burton Albion up close and personal. Hope Akpan was playing for Burton. Aina was outstanding as usual and Fikayo was lost.

Fast forward he goes to Derby as a CB has an outstanding season and was the best CB in the Championship the rest is history. Once I had seen his improvement I started calling for him to be called to the SE well before he got recognised by England.

Footballers are not static they progress as the develop and get a lot better. Then some keep going backwards with never ending diminishing returns like Awaziem .

The problem with Awaziem is he is good technically not exceptional , but he is also just too dam slow. That's why he is in Croatia.

I should add I see no similarities in their game, Tosin is a athletic very fast much taller defender with aerial dominance as well as ball playing from the back under pressure technical abilities.

I don't watch women's football ⚽ it's a affront to quality and excellence by comparison to men's football.

Remember when the Australian national women's football team got rinsed and flogged by a U15 academy team.

I watch women athletics because there is excellence, yes the men are better but the gap is a gender natural one and the gap is not humongous.

But women football it's like bad caricature cartoon.

Very heart breaking end to such a brilliant talent. I always felt he would take up a coaching role in the near future, being the fulcrum of Coach Monday Sinclair's possessive plays.

Sad we did not get to enjoy him in the Super Eagles colors but the few that saw his displays as a creative midfielder knew he was a gifted maestro of the round leather game.

I pray God grants his family the strength and fortitude to bear this loss.

Goodbye star midfielder Emmanuel "the waistbreaker" Ebiede.

Your performance in the scrimmage game at Shell RA, against some of the star Super Eagles players will always be on my mind.

Yes I remembered I had conversations with you on why you didn’t rate Adarabioyo and Fikayo then but rated Aina Ola…As you said they are teens then but now more matured, honestly surprised seeing poor Fikayo Tomori of Hull city doing wonderful well now

This why the worst thing you can do to a young footballer is tell him he has arrived and is great when he has done nothing.

Telling a young player you are failing is the beginning of success. Because he takes on the criticism improves, humbles himself, learns more increases his skill set and moves up . Then overcomes and keeps improving. Saka absolutely comes to mind .

Right now the SE defence can do with A Taye Taiwo, or Danny Shittu type of defender

Just watch Villarreal vs Valladolid and you will see one of my Moroccan lads, Jawad El Yamiq (a Center back) ball-carrying and driving forward like he is some LW, cutting in and scoring a really wonderful goal past Reina.

Insane from a CB and he isn't even part of Morocco's first choice CB pair. He is backup.

The sort of ball carrying and ball playing confidence needed in our Super Eagles Central Defenders. Only Leon Balogun exhibited a close enough quality but now he is history.

Paserio did not say that! Fact. Tosin brother was the one that said he is not ready to play for Nigeria yet.
Based on what Criteria is Tosin better than Akpo and Bassey? Being a better paser is even debatable, overall he is not better than Akpo/Bassey! The first job of a defender is to defend and Tosin is not that great in tackles. How can you call yourself a professional football and cannot pass the ball? Of course, some are better passer than others however why is it that when Akanji, Stones and Ake returns to their National team they suddenly lose their passing game. why?
Because Mancity formation and good midfielders position themselves well to receive the ball which makes average defenders like Ake, Stones and Akanji look amazing! lol.

Most guys here comment based on heresay, sentiment and Pep/Arteta grandiose delusion. Using club football as a yardstick for National team football. Laughable!
The same Awaziem Paserio invited and played rubbish in the friendly matches played in United States.

Babajide David Akintola scores a brace for Adana Demirspor as they lead 2-0 vs Kasimpasa so far after 22 mins.

He now has 6 goals, 1 assist in 24 league games (16 starts).

Oga Majori, just my opinion.I will never picked Akpogunma and Bassey over Adarabioyo and Awaziem as CB.I love ball playing defenders a lot so if you see me talking about Balogun it was purely based on his ball playing…I don’t rate Ekong and Bassey cuz I don’t really fancy theirs style of play….I would have love Akpogunma cos he does it with ball but he lacked the zeal especially with eagles…..Yes you are right on Ake,Akanji and Stones looking different as man city players in their national teams but fact remains it was their style of plays that attracted PEP.
