The Super Eagles midfield is a mess. Onyeka clearly has his limitations and doesn't suit the profile we need starting games for us. He isn't even active for his club.
We are talking midfield players that can come uplift our middle game dynamics and you are here yapping like a rabies-infected individual.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Rest abeg. Stick to your betting. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

You read statistics, I watched the games. "He lacks pace tracking back is not the same as he lacks pace". Okay. Most of you guys do not understand the use of English! Just like you and others make baseless assumptions!
Whenever, his team lose the ball he does not track back quick enough! You give your own analysis based on statistics, I give based on experience and observation. Many of you here do not watch football real time. Just heresay and fake stats. Facts!
How many assists has he made? How many goals has he scored? Compared to Onyeka who plays in a more competitive league!
Are you for real? spitting trash with confidence.

Leicester almost came back! Nacho struck the post and Maddison missed a 1v1 he should have passed to Nacho. They almost did it! When I predict, it is not based on emotions or heresay but on experience! Respect the Oracle and if you don't you will collect wotowoto!
Marjoribanks:
Unlucky Ndidi! Trying to move his hand away from the ball but the ball still came to meet his hand. Penalty scored. City 2 up in 15 minutes. I see Leicester bouncing back

Igoh Ogbu balling decently in the Prague Derby.

His side Slavia Prague currently up 2-1 away at Sparta Prague. A win will see Ogbu and Slavia climb above Sparta into 1st in the Czech Liga by one point.

The team changes affected the Dynamics of the game but Leicester City gave a good account of themselves in the fight back.

Rodri has really carried us this season and John Stones has been brilliant in the inverted role.

I agree Maddison missed a big opportunity to square the ball to Iheanacho. If he did, we would have been in big trouble.

The last pass from Maddison was glorious, Nacho really felt sad he did not bury that chance.

Exciting end to the game.

And what could his real age be? 40?

IMO, he's been overused at Leicester over the season which contributed to his constant injury spells and subsequent loss of form...

Although he has always had his limitations, his tackling and interception abilities have been one of the best in the world the past few seasons

If Peseiro had any sense at all in his head, he would learn a thing or two from the way Chukwueze is deployed in Villarreal.

Chukwueze plays on the far right, high up the pitch as a winger in a three-man attack rather than playing a "right midfielder" in a 4-4-2. This allows him to cut in and shoot, lay a good pass or get a corner.

Moreover, 90% of Villarreal's attacks come from Chukwueze's wing. He
is always positioned at the forefront of every counter-attack. The Villareal players deliberately give him lots of the ball to utilize his skills and speed as the team's X-factor. Peseiro can give him the same role while tasking Simon or whoever plays the left wing to sit back and do more defensive work.

In other words, Peseiro needs to figure out how to use Chukwueze. He can be our next Victor Moses if used right.

Igoh Ogbu scored his first Slavia Prague goal but it wasn't enough to earn his side all 3 points as an owngoal levelled things up for Sparta.

Game finished 3-3. Sparta still 1st and Slavia in 2nd, trailing by 2 pts.

Peserio seems to be obsessed with using a two man attack... Maybe the fact that we have many in form strikers in Europe is making him feel like he has to utilize them all at once...
Rohr's decline in the super eagles started when he began prioritizing a two man attack... The 4-4-2 formation also weaken our midfield and overworks Iwobi

Let's be factual. Ndidi was rated for his tackles and blocks which is what a defender does. He just happens to find himself the midfield. Additionally , I never rated Ndidi because I am not a man that is easily carried away. Everyone who knows my handle knows I hardly shift ground.

I was ganged up on because I insisted Nwakali was better than Aribo....guy , look face biko

Being a top level dm requires an unreal level of physicality and body-frame

Look at Nigel De Jong, Rodri, Kante et al......

Even Kante's struggles aren't unrelated to performing at a top level for many years..

So,......maybe Ndidi just needs prolonged rest.

That 4-4-2 formation is a recipe for disaster against any good team. It makes our central midfield position extremely lean and porous. Just look how the Portuguese were slicing through our midfield like hot knife through butter. Heck, even Guinea Bissau easily went past our midfield whenever they had the courage to attack.

A 4-4-2 can only work if your two CM/DMs are technically gifted workaholics who can create, run to cover space and make good strong tackles. Anything less than that and you are entering battle with a shield made of glass.

Rohr's biggest victories e.g against Algeria and Cameroon in the WC qualifiers were won with a strong three-man midfield.
