Now this is what I like to see, someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind and call out the hypocrisy of those in power. The Lagos State Government needs to stop being so sensitive and learn to accept criticism. It's not like they can hide the reality of Lagos forever, no matter how much they try to cover it up.

this is called the second colonization of Lagos state in the 21st century

Is it the reality of their reflection? True or false?

It's that simple. If true, give reasons. If false, give reasons. Haven't watched the film yet but I know that you can get robbed on those streets if you lose guard.

At the end of the day, the state government is just wasting their time.

It's just a film. Hollywood makes films that are like Gangs of Lagos, about American cities every day. (Infact if you watch some American films, you would think that the USA is on the verge of destruction). People should relax. At the end it is make believe.

As in the case of Borat, which eventually helped Kazakhstan's tourism sector very well it might help Lagos in the end.

The true Lagos which he does not know has spoken on the issue. If he is from Lagos or Yoruba, he will never speak or tweet against the Aalaale. He is not Yoruba so does not know our history and where Politics end.

Jade Osiberu who is the daughter of Oba Osiberu and the creator of 'Gangs of Lagos', in an interview said they met with some people in Isale-Eko and even the co-writer of the movie is a guy from Isale-Eko, they got to spend 50 days there shooting the movie.........why did the LASG and the traditional institutions there keep quie while the movie was being shot because majority of the scenes was shot outdoors and cannot claim ignorance?

Where are the Osiberus from?

Rhodes-Viviour is not a Yoruba name. Adewale, Oluyemi, Oladele, Ogunwale, Sangobunmi, Esuwale, Osunbimpe, e.t.c. are Yoruba names. Rhodes-Viviour is either Serria Leone, Liberia or Brazil. These are slaves dumped in Lagos after the abolition of the slave trade.

because of a drug Lord you even sacrifice a true Lagosians who is a Yoruba man. Kai naija youths sorry Yoruba youths. It's a pity

He’s neither ‘a true Logasian’ nor Yoruba.

His forebear, William Allen Vivour, the son of an Igbo slave (sold via Bight of Bonny by Aro slave traders) was born in Sierra Leone.

And when his forebear returned to Nigeria with the other Saros (who were mostly Yorubas) - he settled in Opobo while the Yoruba Saros settled in Lagos and Abeokuta. They came to Lagos after Chinedu’s great grand father married a Yoruba Saro woman from Lagos.

Chinedu is from Biafraland with Igbo blood. Stop the madness.

That got 'London' killed in the movie. There's nothing more annoying for non-indigenous Yoruba agberos in Lagos than being told they are not from here. Dem go kill and unkill o.

Everything isn't supposed to be playing with politics. This is animal thats trying hard to be gov of the state o.

One shouldnt serve in government before giving back to society.

Vivour should come out and highlights what he and rich family has/had done for Lagos to improve welfare of people in the past.
