It looks like for almost one week now, visa officers haven't approved any application. I'm no longer seeing PPR alerts 🤦

I also want to ask:
If someone did upfront medicals before submitting application and after some weeks, received medical request on his portal... Is it possible that he/she can pass the medicals and still be refused visa?

This is me trying to give myself hope😭
this is the reason. They’re on strike. Now I wonder if it’ll affect passports on getting stamped

Yes.

I have handled many of such applications.

So long as you have not missed any of the conditions, the LOA is valid.

Hi guys,

I want to put my question in another way amd please can someone answer me please🙏.

Has anyone gotten an approval with a conditional letter of admission?

I thought our study visa applications are processed in Nairobi??
I’m thinking temporary visas might not be impacted.

The strike started today 19th...
So they may have worked yesterday.

But notwithstanding, I don't think it'll affect study visa processing

Good day guys,
Please we're about to apply for my wife's study visa. I'm her sponsor. We decided to have her balance for tuition and upkeep in her account in the sum of 6.5M which I've been crediting to her account incrementally for the past 3 months while I'll also be presenting 8M in my account. But the final deposit of the 6.5M which is 1.5M shall only be deposited 27th of April. We intend to apply in 2nd week of May.

My question is, will the last deposit raise any red flags as being a lump sum even though 1M will be from me and 500k from my wife's business account?

Please your candid advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Lump sums doesn't raise a red flag, what raises red flags are inability to explain the lump sum.

I would advise you explain everything in a letter format, before attaching the statement of account to this letter. Upload the document in web page.

This information is vital and can not be hidden. On EVERY program offered, there will be a list attached like Admission requirement, Admission process, Tuition Fees, Application deadlines etc. Read each program and you will absolutely find it.

Most programs have a time they open admission application submissions. Thats all you need to find and work towards that time.

Good luck.

Thank you so much, I will go over the requirements more thoroughly now.

Please does anyone know about Northeastern University, anyone studying there? how is the school. I got admission and they said I should pay $1000 as deposit, but they did not specify the total tuition fee. I want to know how the school operates.

Good morning everyone,I have been a ghost viewer for a while now,I will like to commend the top dogs in the forum, you guys rock👍.I started my application process three weeks back I applied to 4 schools
-conestoga college
-norquest college
-Cambrian college
-Nbcc
I just got informed that Cambrian and conestoga denied my application because I have more than 7fs in my transcript (my Gpa is on the low side 2.38
I am still expecting feed back from norquest and Nbcc hasn’t started application process for 2024 intakes
I will love if anyone who has gone through a similar situation to assist me on which schools to apply for while I wait for the other two schools.
I graduated with a 3rd class from Federal University of Technology Owerri
Course :statistics
I am applying for data analytics post graduate programs or business analysis
I look forward to reading your thoughts and suggestions
Thank you.

Good day all, had medical done exactly a week ago at IOM but no updates to the application portal and medical request still showing “your action is required”. Medical Request letter‘s validity will expire April 23.

I’m just wondering how long it would take for IOM to forward medical results to IRCC? I hope it will not affect the application if results don’t get updated by the deadline of April 23. Thanks

It should not take long. I did mine on March 20 and it was completed on my application on March 25

Send a webform to Nairobi

How can someone do this?

Cos I'm in same situation.
Did upfront medicals before applying and uploaded the slip during my application on 31st March. Only to receive a medical request on my dashboard again on 13th April.

I've been sending webforms since a week now uploading my medicals, but it's still not yet updated.

Can you direct us on how to send specific webform to Nairobi?

don’t panic. Mine took two weeks before they sent ppr. It’s been slow recently.

Hello,
I got admission into Conestoga for Sept 2023. I've registered with CIBC bank for GIC purpose and I've been sent instruction for transferring the money to them.
Please, how do I make this transfer because the deadline for this transfer is next week Monday. Also, I don't have a dollar account. Please what do I do?

Thanks in advance.

For college diploma/certificate programs, your undergraduate degree result is not mandatory especially since you graduated with a 3rd class. If you have a very good WAEC result, use it instead. i.e if all the schools you have applied to at the moment refuse to admit you based on the 7fs on your university transcript

Yes, you can get admission into PGD with second class lower. Many third class have gotten admission too. Just make sure you fulfill the requirements of the course.
