Let's not forget that a significant amount of the wealth of Lagos derives from FG ALLOCATION deriving from oil revenue begotten OUTSIDE of Lagos, and from traders (who are significantly Igbo in ethnicity). |

sta1:That is not true Lagos state is the largest single contributor to the Federation account. It has always been. Last year e.g total oil revenues was 4 trillion VAT was 2.5 trillion and most VAT is from Lagos. Not to mention Customs,NPA,,Excise,Airport and companies tax. If you combine the top two oil production states they don't contribute as much as Lagos state Lagos is Nigeria economy Last year Oil was about 1.4 million barrels daily X$70 X365 is not up to Mmm $40 billion. Nigeria is a $500 billion economy. Of That 40 billion how much is profit? Of That profit how much does the oil company take and how much is left. Non oil revenues last year was almost 60% Please stop making noise a about oil |

slivertongue:It has already. Too late to undo. 2023 election has already exposed them. Words on the street fröm other ethnic Nigerians is a testimony to that. Just because of a drug addict, they lost the sanity, went haywire, calling anyone not supporting Tinubu "Igbo" and "Omoale" I hope they understand the Position they boxed themselves into. Sad. |

Right from EndSars, I noticed that the resentment has grown more. Some of us are pushing for fair and sustainable relationship between the Yoruba and Igbo. Nobody should cheat each other. It is not sustainable when you keep your own jobs for your Igbo people alone and struggle with the Yoruba for the ones in their land, the way out is to reciprocate by giving them jobs in your Igboland too after all we are all Nigerians.
