I just came into UK this January ending. I don't even know how to apply for credit card. And I am not sure I will meet the requirement for credit card at this time.

Keep checking and applying on CV library and indeed. Filter for remote roles, and try apply to customer service advisor roles in banks like Lloyd’s, HSBC, Barclays. They usually have fully remote roles. You can also register with recruiting agencies like Blue Arrows and AMS solutions who recruit for some of this corporate Orgs. The key is to tailor your CV as much as possible and keep applying.

I have a real life story ..........

My family got a party in a couple of weeks...... The aso ebi was bought from Nigeria and was handed over to a logistics courier, that cargo's goods ........

Long and short, cargo provider loads goods in container....... Container was full ...... Someone that handed logistics courier their own goods, packed cocaine...... Container arrived UK and was seized by customs......

We still dey the matter to collect our goods (almost 3 month's and counting)......

It's slowly resolving, a controlled delivery was made, cocaine gang arrested in the UK..... Now uk customs wants individual to come claim their goods, individually ......... We still dey await date .....😂

Doesn't look like she's helping. She seems to be running a courier business.

And I also I think "help" depends on your relationship. For example, I wouldn't accept crayfish(or packed) good from a random person on the Internet, but what about someone we live together ? Or say a friend whom we have been together for years ? Perhaps not even packed foods as they are easily "stacked". How about documents?

My last neighbor was very friendly. Dude use to put both (mine n his trash out). Checks on us. Got our son Christmas gift the first Christmas in the house. We use same man to clear garden, so there was no ideal separation of the garden. My son plays with his cats and we play football. His grandchildren come visiting and they play with our son. He drinks his wine and tea at my corner of the garden.

Long story short. He sold his house in December becos he was moving out as his kids are all gone and he can’t live alone. Gone to his moms house (she’s alone too and very old). We have been teaching oga not to knock on Mr A’s house cos Mr A doesn’t live there anymore. We now use our own side of the garden, preparing for the worst if our new neighbors are not friendly. House has been sold so it’s only a matter of time before they move in.

If him no de friendly, then God don already give us enough time to adjust.

My neighbour has had our spare key for over 20 years....... When we changed our front door (we updated their key)...... Key 🗝️ is life ......

Likewise we have theirs....... It's saved us many times, over the years ........🤣😭

Thank you for responding. The thing is this wasn’t an online thing. This was done through a nursing agency with a physical office. We have been to their physical office. He looked my brother and wife in the face, collected full money for application and lied he did the dbs application whereas he didn’t. They have spent the last two months chasing for the certificate for an application that was never made.

They have called severally requesting for reference number to track and hr still couldn’t say he did not make this application.

I really need to know how to treat such fraud cos this person is not some anonymous online business

There are lot's of ways depending on what works for you.

You can get someone that wants to buy something expensive like phone, laptop, car deposit, tuition deposit etc, pay for them with your credit card and collect the money from them.

If you have a trading account, fund your trading account with your credit card and transfer from your trading account to your bank account.

You can check if other platforms like wise support credit card funding.

Or even cargo foodstuff the proper way. I admit that a lot of rubbish is on the shelves, but you can still cargo your own food. Once in 4 months a bulk package lands.
