Asiwaju will not be gaslighted into making undue concession to any region: definitely not a region that has refused to move on and accept defeat.

When it is time to make constitutionally backed appointments, the Igbos will get their fair share in accordance with federal character. Crying over exclusion from a ceremony planning committee is not just unnecessary but childish and hypocritical considering the hatred they have shown towards the president- elect.

Nahhh, Tinubu would have disappointed me if he had slotted in an Igbo in his committee. But he is a wise man that i know he is. Just the right man the nation needs to take us forward.

Only an ostrich will deceive themselves into thinking that the rejection of Tinubu is a tribal issue , when it is very clear that he came in through a very flawed process, that if he had any integrity even he would reject.

I hope you will not advise your children to accept defeat when they have strong reason to believe they have been cheated and when the law allows them to take their grievance to court, like Tinubu did many times before.

If that is what you will advise your children, then you might as well curse them to a life of failure.

Igbos have been surviving and thriving without having one of their own as president for decades they will definitely still thrive if tinibu is sworn in no amount of exclusion in govt will make them not thrive and flourish in nigeria.

I once warned that the marginalisation and cheating of Igbos' will continue in one way or the other if Tinubu, either by omission or commission, manages to get his scrawny hands on the keys to Aso Rock and the nations vault! He's just as anti-Igbo and bigoted as Buhari is, and what's going to happen is Buhari will hand over the anti-Igbo baton to Tinubu to continue from where he left off!

I'm an Ibo. Why are our people always crying the victim all the time? We don't know how to play national politics yet we want to benefit from it. From the inception of apc our people hated it such that even if an angel contests under apc we will still hate the person.

We put all our political eggs in one basket contrary to what other sections are doing.

I live in Lagos and I can state clearly that tinubu is very broad minded. When he was governor there were Ibos that held sensitive position in his regim. There are Ibos that are in Lagos state civil service. Some are pensioners.

You can only reap where you sow or at most you pick the crumbs.

Seeking political correctness everytime is not a virtue. In 2011 Jonathan swept Northern states like Kogi, Kwara, Nassarawa, Benue, Plateau, Taraba and Niger. It was only in the Core North that Buhari won. Those who rioted in the Core North did so not because Jonathan won but because there were reported cases of electoral malpractices in their domain.

Your argument on Almajiri schools shows clearly that you weren't even following the issues into details back then else you would have known that the Almajiri schools policy of Jonathan was a show of vindictiveness to the North because right from its conception by Jonathan, Northerners rejected it on the grounds that it was going to be tantamount to educational apartheid, and therefore advised Jonathan to rather spend the allocated funds to revive and expand as many dilapidated public primary schools in the Core North as possible. They added that Ahmadu Bello whom all Northerners rever as the best leader they ever had spent all his life establishing Western Education-based primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions in the North and discouraged the Almajiri phenomon. But Jonathan's advisers who saw the Almajiri schools project as an avenue to line their pockets urged him to stubbornly go ahead with it in defiance to Northerners rejection of it. If that wasn't vindictiveness, then what exactly was it?

No, no, no. That's practically impossible. The Tinubu I know, despite his much-flagged shortcomings, would want to prove a point in national governance. He has the Lagos experience behind him. He knows exactly how to bring the best out of qualified individuals. Culturally, Igbos, on the other hand, mostly know exactly how to make it big in business, even without government patronage. They are very enterprising.

So, in conclusion, I confidently say that there's no cause for alarm. Tinubu government will thrive and Igbo enterprises will thrive. Period 👍🏽
