So why is Igbo expecting appointment from someone they hate so much? When it comes to development every region would benefit regardless the party you belong but for appointment, except the one that is constitutionally required, they should take away their mind from other appointments

Everybody will get what they deserve. Equity is all about people getting their fair share based on their contributions. If you deserve a bread soaked in water, you will get a break soaked in water.

Asiwaju will not be gaslighted into making undue concession to any region: definitely not a region that has refused to move on and accept defeat.

When it is time to make constitutionally backed appointments, the Igbos will get their fair share in accordance with federal character. Crying over exclusion from a ceremony planning committee is not just unnecessary but childish and hypocritical considering the hatred they have shown towards the president- elect.

Too early to be making noise. Igbo is less than 10% of Nigeria but making the highest noise. You refused to see south south especially delta state as part of you when it comes to appointments but forcing them into Biafra map.

The former National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, has said that Nigeria’s President-elect, Ahmed Tinubu, has started serving Ndigbo “a piece of bread soaked in water”.

Back in January, Tinubu was at Michael Okpara Square for a presidential campaign rally.


During the rally, he urged the southeasterners to work for his victory and that of the party.

According to Tinubu, “… nobody will give you any credit, you are working hard, you’re sweating now.

Nwodo
Speaking on Monday in an exclusive interview with Vanguard, Nwodo said Tinubu was already serving the Igbo the promised “soaked bread”.

He said it in reaction to the perceived exclusion of Igbo in Tinubu’s 14-man inauguration committee.

Nwodo, an ex-governor of Enugu State, said that any President of Nigeria who is not making conscientious efforts to unite the ethnic groups in Nigeria will fail woefully.



He equally bemoaned the repeated attacks on Igbo in Lagos State, who he said were being allegedly punished for voting their conscience during the general elections.

… on Buhari’s apology
The elder statesman also said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s apology to Nigerians was belated and not enough to heal the trauma he caused Nigerians.

Nwodo, who gave an abysmal scorecard of 30% to the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government, said insecurity, ethnic bigotry and hunger festered across Nigeria during its reign.

The President had apologised to Nigerians, stating that he had done his best and cannot wait to head back home to Daura, in Katsina State. Read the story HERE.

Who cares, all I know is that the person who laughs last, laugh better. Majority of those that mocked Igbos when Buhari won the presidential election in 2015 can't just wait for him to step down even after getting the vice president and speaker, yet they are still crying more than Igbos. Ordinary cashless policy, they started displaying madness in Oyo and Ogun. Don't worry, that soaked bread will soon turned out to become honey to Igbos, I trust my people they don't carry last. If the can survive Biafra war then there is nothing they won't survive.

He did so much for the Igbos in Lagos, He appointed them as commissioners and civil servants ,so many of them are teachers and principles of schools in Lagos ,but you are not normal ,so you wont even look and check yourselves .Jakande gave land for alaba market do that they could get support during elections , result was zero, Ajegunle was turned into a getto , a place that was deigned for export and industrial zone near the sea port ,all for election purposes.
