NPC chairman would meet with President on Tuesday to fix a new date for the population census after which date for the commencement of LGA level training would be announced. Field functionaries at the LGA level would be trained for 12days. 7days for building numbering and household listing and 5 days for enumeration of persons. Fieldwork would be for 10days, 5 days for building numbering and household listing, and 5 days for enumeration of persons. As it stands, census would not hold as initially planned for 2nd to 7th of May. It will be moved by 2weeks, but it will still hold before the swearing in of the new government to power

A UBE principal I met told me that when they submitted their forms, the board gave them a new nominal roll carrying 12/8 for us.
Come to think of it, is the governor following the rules before? The last time I checked, level 9, 10 and some part of 12 which run is millions have all already eaten by the government with us having no hope of arrears to be paid to us.
To me, whe even deserve to be promoted to level 13 or 14 straight to cover the millions they have already denied us.

The interview went well today at my own end, the experience was mostly the same like others. My bitterness is that my Masters degree wasn't regarded or even countenanced. I Was hoping this was a rare opportunity for upgrade. This uniform promotion to level 12 without consideration to latest qualifications is kind of demoralizing.

It should not demoralised you.I have Masters degree too. The truth is that promotion is based on how one started the job.we started with IST degree so from level 8 we are climbing the ladder Going By the years we have put in, we are now on 12 which is higher than the level a beginner with masters.starts with. The advantage we have is that we can use it to get another job outside teaching in secondary school. On the other hand as we continue here when it's time to become a perm sec the civil servant with masters will get the position before others.With masters degree or even doctorate one is likely to boss his/ colleagues when certain opportunities show up in the ministry..

Whether source or no source, we are the authentic source. As our salary drop we shall all confirm whether we receive new pay or old pay.
Someone once said that our promotion will only be two instead of three, sighting source from the ministry. But during promotion we were all promoted by three. As our promotional letter from the board will carry three additional levels. The board employ, and promote. That's why our employment letter, confirmation letter, and promotion letter are prepared, signed, and issued by board, chaired by board chairman. The implementation comes from the executive governor.

So let's wait and see our payment first, which will either be new level of payment or old level of payment.

NCE entry point is GL 7. If that's the case, you will be placed on GL 10 if you were employed in 2012/13.

I heard same also. The source said it will be by may. That the promotion they are still working with the result of the promotion they just concluded for us for us to have a new nominal roll. Besides yesterday Monday was for principals and others on level 13 and above

It now means the money will be paid by may because States will not received allocation for may , allocation will come after swearing in.So the money will be paid by June.

My aunt that is with board said that a soft copy has already been sent to the ministry as they were mandated as what we did was only a formality.
