I was refused visitor visa last August with my husband due to unpaid childbirth bills.

The bills have been paid now, can I apply for a study visa or I have to reapply for visitor’s visa.

Secondly is there any provision to travel with spouse as a student? What visa type will the spouse apply for? Can the interview be done together?

You don't need to join any group.

When your are within 60 days of your program start date, apply for an emergency appointment and you will be asked to reschedule. Closer dates will show up.

So my interview was by 6:30, i got there around 3am, due to Lagos traffic, because i live in Ikorodu, i don't want to take any risk i would later regret.

ME: Well, like i said before, i have traveled out of Nigeria before, so i can't say i know how it is outside the country, i only know for my home country.

VO: (Smile) So what do you do currently?

ME: I was a software developer as at last year October when i filled my DS-160 form, but now i am a content and program editor for a radio station (radio name)

I was also this confused at first too but I later figured it out. You need to click new appointment and follow the same process you followed to pay visa fee, it should be prefilled since you already entered all the information before, so just continue clicking next. You will get to the calendar after the payment receipt page.

So with this, I scheduled my interview for early July 2023. Since then I have not login to my profile. I log in this afternoon only to discover multiple interview cancellations on my profile( which obviously were not done by me). And they now scheduled a new date which is around September for me. I'm really surprised, at this point, I don't know what to do or figure out what is going on.
N.B. Nobody has my login info, beside me. I never use an agent or any other person.

Yes. Make sure you have a ‘paid in full’ invoice from the hospital.
Also, be clear about your intentions. If you’re applying for F1, your hubby can apply for F1 or F2. Good luck

How long does it take to change the new ds160 on the CGI portal

you need to change it 48hours before your interview before it can reflect but you will still need to get your confirmation changed to match the new code .use the same application and choose the create a new application option

Yes the embassy cancels appointments and rebooks it if you do not do it.
It happened to me in 2021 but because I was always monitoring my profile and email, I was able to get a favourable date when it happened.
Sorry, next time always monitor your account at least twice a week.

Not to be judgmental or anything, but why’d you go for 4 months without logging on to the portal?
There was an update on the platform sometime in February/ March by the embassy. So most people had their dates rescheduled to September. You’re most likely one of them. You need to start hustling for a new date, or apply for Emergency.
They sent a mail when the dates were rescheduled, unless you don’t check your mails too.
