Boss, please help me look at this below:
She has been battling this when breastfeeding the infant.

One breast seems smaller and the kid are only able to suck from the smaller breast only. I had called a vet for her 2years ago but a quack one, instead the vet almost got her killed.
And since then I did not time to check on the goat

The kids always ended growing up malnourished with retarded growth and pale skincolor

Mr @Jidestroud and all boss, please I need a help on this
The breast is not producing enough milk or its deformed?
Oxytocin helps with milk production. Left to me, I'll cull the goat and only get goats with good breast structure. Its best to always physically examine any goat you want to get.

The Fulani herdsmen generally have a regional Seriki leader who can be bribed with cash to direct his subordinates to stay away from certain farms and to prevent herdsmen who are NOT part of their cooperative from showing up in a specific area covered by such an agreement.

Contacting the police after the fact is a pointless course of action because the police have been instructed from the federal level to hands-off any and all farmer's complaints about crop damage. It is better to accept this reality and use strategic bribes to prevent invasions from occurring in the first place.
Bribing! This sad
I think the best thing to do is employ local vigilantes and add better dogs to your farm boerboel, cane Corso, German shepherd and our local bingo dog, it will make the Fulanis think twice before attacking. My suggestion, because once you bribe them, you have started bribing them and it will never stop,if you insist that you won't bribe again they will attack your farm, so best thing is this option I listed

Ultimately the Fulani herdsmen are backed by the might of federal troops, who have in the past been drafted to attack farmers who tried to resist the destruction of their crops and the conversion of their landed property into Fulani encampments. One can either test the might of the federal power structure and thus assume the mortal risks such a suicidal stand implies, or one can simply accept the reality that is Nigeria today, and pay "protection money" to the criminal invaders, in order to qualify for exemption from their land annexation agenda currently unfolding nationwide in Nigeria.

cry this sad. But I don't think paying Fulanis will forever solve the problem. But finding a way to forever solve the problem, even if is collaborating with other farmers in your area and people in your area to employ armed security men, dogs, to protect you and your farm from herdsmen.

Quick update.
Its been 6 months since we started this journey. We started with about 18 goats(13 does and 5 bucks).
We've had 4 deaths so far, 3 were due to administering fake PPR vaccine by a fake vet but thats behind us now.
We have 4 kids now with 5 more about to kid and the goats are doing quite well

This is quiet interesting Sir but I will advise you don't need 'Plenty'goats on your farm inorder to thrive in livestock farming.
I know of a farmer that started his farm 20 years ago in ratio 3:7(Male/Female)

This is 2023 he still has quiet a no of goats on his farm all products of the first generation. He hasn't added a goat ever since and immediately a particular female shows signs of menopause he sells it off and create more spaces for the younger ones.

In times of financial crisis he sells a goat to ameliorate,he just sold some goats now that school reopened to send the children back to school.

Don't know if I'm being feminine but me think the less goats you have to care for on the farm;the lesser the maintenance and when they're adequately taken care of with the abundance resources the higher the outputs. Case study of an average Nigeria family each having a fixed income but their numbers in ratio 3:12.

Fewer Energetic Vibrant and Disease Resistant Breed means:

*Lower Manpower
*Lower Clinical Needs
*Lower Feeds
*More output (kids)
And lots more........
This is my perspectives please cry

Business Guys in this section, I am a goat famer who is still growing, I bought just a female goat by divine inspiration and now it has grown into about 9.Now this are my challenges ; I am. A missionary clergy still within the ambience of the north were I started the small venture. My plans by inspiration is to become a large famer just like a clergy mentor I have been with for years before moving ahead.(2)I also rear Rabbits and local fowls who have seriously increase in numbers too.I am privileged to have a very spacious apartment here in the north, coupled with the free range system my co-hausas practice here (we do not have rules here)..(The question):Now I am about been transferd: likely outside this state to another and likely another geo- zone, this has been springing up fears in me in relation to what and how to go about this animals. I brought this to this section since almost all here do animal farming .(1)what is the best thing to do now , since I do not have any cage for the goats and even the fowls and d rabbits...(2) ;How do I transport them with me ?(3) would there be space for moving this animals with our house hold properties ??(4) what if the new location doesn't give place for animal reading ?(5) should I sell off al this and go start another over there ?(6) I am also considering the New Transport system in Nigeria, which is a depressing factor to wanna consider.I seek advice from sound minded individuals here, I really hold this projects dear to heart but this factors are sending waves over me.Of worthy note : my spouse parents are old and busy with personal business ,my parents live UP south .
