In this time and age, fertility tests is one of the most important tests intending couples must do. Forget sentiment, in fact forget the fact that it's coming from your dad, you are suppose to do this test before getting married. It saves a lot of headache in the future.

There's nothing wrong doing the tests. We do a lot of tests here in Nigeria before most churches allows you to wed in their church. The churches send you to hospitals they choose.

Tell her. There is nothing special in fertility test. Everyone is doing it.

If she loves you and she is clean she will do it. There is nothing there. After all there are compulsory tests one must do before marriage. HIV/AIDS, Genotype, blood group, pregnancy tests and so on. Just include it as part of the test.

Moreover, you met her on Facebook, you have not even met or seen her, guy your father as a doc probably has seen many cases and is trying to avoid one for himself.

Call her and tell her to go and and do the test infact, make your papa carry her go the place himself.

Are you looking at hormones? Hormones may be fine but there could be cysts that cause infertility. There might be no cysts but the tube could be blocked. Are you going to subject her to painful HSG test to see if her tubes are blocked? Will you do an abdominal scan or the more intrusive vaginal ultrasound? Note that everything might look clear but she might have endometriosis which could only be diagnosed through surgery. Will you drag her to a surgeon to tear her up? Your dad is a weirdo and I am not apologizing for saying that.
